Had an appointment scheduled to purchase a vehicle and before I arrived for my appointment they sold the vehicle out from under me. I went in to test drive a vehicle I was interested in and the stickers value had it at $18,995. After my test drive I shared with the salesman that my budget was $20,000 all in including what I'd pay in taxe the stickers value had it at $18,995. After my test drive I shared with the salesman that my budget was $20,000 all in including what I'd pay in taxes and titling. He then went behind his computer at told me he could do $18,124.48 to get me to my number. I called back a few days later to accept the offer and the salesman said he needed to get final approval from the owner and he'd call me right back. The owner said no and that he would lower the sticker number $44 to make it $18,951. Needless to say I walked away because I don't think you can have a car dealership and give customers the run around. The only reason I gave this a 2 star instead of a 1 is that after speaking with the owner about my concern he did investigate, and called me back with the salesperson present. Even the salesperson wouldn't fully own up to his offer which only made matters worse. There are thousands of cars out there, and US Fleet Lease & Sales is a dealership I no longer will entertain. More
