My husband and I picked out a 2017 crosstrek Subaru online and went in with the intention of purchasing a vehicle, we were hustled over to Frank , I asked him to show us four or five cross treks that online and went in with the intention of purchasing a vehicle, we were hustled over to Frank , I asked him to show us four or five cross treks that were pre-owned, he didn’t know how to do a proper inventory search and hand me the mouse, . After selecting a few cars he handed me keys without asking for my license and told me to go outside and beep the beeper until I found the car, and he added if it wasn’t on this lot he would drive us to the lot it was on. He was truly clueless, we politely left. How does a professed 12 year car salesperson not 1. Know their inventory and the location of it 2. Get the vehicle for the customer test drive (especially in the rain) 3. Know product knowledge or use computers I understand it was busy, but we had a set appointment and he might have been having an off day. The manager should have intervened and offered assistance. Buying a car is a commitment and should be treated as a high value purchase. We felt as if we were on candid camera. More

Worst shopping experience of my life Last week I put money in my bank account and got a zipcar and drove over to this dealership from NYC, with a commitment to buy a car. Easiest sale pos Last week I put money in my bank account and got a zipcar and drove over to this dealership from NYC, with a commitment to buy a car. Easiest sale possible. In advance I found a model I was interested in and called ahead and asked them to keep the car ready to test drive, which they promised to. An hour drive later I got there and sat down and chatted with the sales person. He looked it up, said he was going to grab the keys, and left for 20 (!) minutes. He came back and said the car was sold. Frustrating for sure, but I said I would be open to checking out other cars of the same model. After 15 minutes of looking through inventory we found a couple cars I was interested in, and I asked to check them out. The sales person laughed and said there was no way he was going to show me a car until we agreed on a price. He wouldn't let me *look* at the car let alone test drive it. He was pretty rude too, like I was asking for his first born or something. Complete waste of a day and a 135 dollar zipcar, and their loss of maybe the easiest sale of all time. I literally was going to buy any 2017+ crosstrek they showed me that wasn't totaled. Instead I had to get another zipcar another day and buy from a better-run dealership. More

Happy 2017 Outback Purchase My wife and I took a look at all of the cars on the lot before we stepped foot in the door. It was a nice change to be able to look at cars without b My wife and I took a look at all of the cars on the lot before we stepped foot in the door. It was a nice change to be able to look at cars without being approached by the salespeople within 10 seconds of stepping on the lot. We took a lot of time with Frank to go over models and features we were looking for and finally landed on the model perfect for my wife. Then we started negotiating which is one of my favorite games and I fear I was very aggressive and straight forward, but Frank handled us with a smile and we ended up working out exactly the deal we were looking for. Raymond was the next person that got to deal with us and was shocked that I was stubborn enough to walk away over $4.00 a month. We played with the numbers came up with a deal and got the number we wanted. Overall we walked away very happy and the staff was very courteous through the whole process. I would definitely recommend this dealership. We drove away our first Subaru today and are loooking forward to putting the reputation of the car to the test. Raymond was off today so we didn’t get to thank him for staying late to finish up our financing on a Saturday, but again Frank spent time with us getting everything sorted and making sure we walked away 100% happy. More

Treated with dignity and respect, plus free coffee! I went to GP Subaru on a Monday night. Frank Rush was my sales guy, he was awesome. I gave Frank my budget number and he helped me find a car in my price range. Frank even went out of his way to take me on a test drive; it was 8:30 pm. and raining! Ted Hanlon, the sales manager, was great too. I found him to be honest and sincere. I didn't spend hours on end haggling over a price. Ted gave me the price of the car, he said it was the best price he could do, and it was fair and of good value. . By Thursday of that same week, I was hitting the road in my new car! No xx, no drama, no sleep deprivation, no starvation. no one trying to wear me down. It was a nice and easy business transaction. . Summation: Everyone there was friendly, kind, honest, and sincerely interested in helping me find the perfect car for me. I will never again go to another dealership on Long Island except GPS. Thank you GPS Team!! More
