During financing, they tried telling me I couldn't get approved for a loan, without buying their warranty. Which was double what I was seeing in my searches. Vehicle has had issues since the start with mu approved for a loan, without buying their warranty. Which was double what I was seeing in my searches. Vehicle has had issues since the start with multiple issues. Owned it 45 days and have had 3 check engine lights regarding fuel issues. Two visits and they didn't fix the issue and now tell me they won't fix it. Don't go here they are crooked!! More

My experience with Tradition Chevrolet Buick of Geneva has been absolutely horrific. I purchased a used 2018 Chevrolet Trax LT with ~25,000 miles from them FOUR days ago. Two days later, there is already has been absolutely horrific. I purchased a used 2018 Chevrolet Trax LT with ~25,000 miles from them FOUR days ago. Two days later, there is already an alignment problem with the vehicle. I take the vehicle back to them to fix, they give me a loaner car for the evening, and I come back and turns out it was an alignment problem. I get the vehicle back, the alignment is STILL messed up, and not even 24 hours later the check engine light turns on. At this point I am absolutely livid. I call the sales person I bought the vehicle from and he states to me that “Everything will be alright, it’s probably nothing.” I have had the car for ~4 days and I’m already experiencing many issues, how is that nothing?! Furthermore, I contact other Chevrolet dealerships and ask them if I would be able to return the car to Geneva Chevrolet and have the whole deal unwinded. Every Chevrolet dealership that I contacted said that they COULD. However, when I contacted Geneva Chevrolet they stated that there was nothing they could do and proceeded to call every dealership that I spoke to. While speaking with the business manager, he stated to me that at Victor Chevrolet I put a down payment down on a vehicle there and backed out of the deal. THAT IS NOT TRUE!!! Yes, I did look at vehicles at Victor Chevrolet, but I NEVER put a down payment on any of their vehicles. Geneva Chevrolet is 100% able to unwind my deal but they are choosing not to. They stated to me that they will only give me a refund if something is majorly wrong with the car. How will I even know if something is majorly wrong with the car? They could easily down play the issues with the vehicle so they can keep the money from the deal. Clearly, it has been problem after problem with this vehicle for FOUR days. For the inconvenience, they stated that they would pay my first car payment for me. That is not what I want. For the inconvenience, I want everything unwinded. I am VERY upset and will NEVER be purchasing a vehicle from them again. Do NOT go to this dealership unless you want to deal with problem after problem after problem and bad customer service. More
