I've been selling cars for 27 years, been through a lot and have dealt with many customers of all types. I believe in low pressure sales and customer satisfaction no mater how big the purchase is it's a big purchase in my eyes. So the customers time should be respected on all levels no mater their credit or where they come from. I believe in expressing the feature, benefits and values of the vehicles and let them sell their selves and make it easy to do business. Cause I feel that that's what's it's all about making the customer comfortable to do business. I'm also a Real Estate agent a certified chef in French cuisine and I'm also a personal trainer along with being a entrepreneur. I also have 5 wonderful children one in the air force one in college one in high school and the rest in grade school so I guess I need to work hard. I also coach youth football and basketball for the past 12 years. My slogan is "I Get It Done" call me 860-213-4609 look forward to hearing from you!!!!

We found the right used vehicle for us. The service department addressed and fixed a brake issue we found on the test drive. We agreed on a price. Then the nightmare began. Next day, we bro The service department addressed and fixed a brake issue we found on the test drive. We agreed on a price. Then the nightmare began. Next day, we brought the certified check for agreed price. Salesperson was apathetic, slow and it took about 3 hours to complete the transaction. We paid them the registration and sales tax so they could register the vehicle for us. The lies began when the temp plate expired i.e., salesman - “the DMV wants it sent FedEx” but if I called and spoke to the receptionist she said “the courier hasn’t gotten to yours yet”. The truth was they do have a real, live person going to the DMV. The salesman told us “it’s ok to drive on expired temp plates, you have a 7 day grace period.” We called DMV, not true. It turns out, after the temp plate expired, the required VIN number inspection by police had not been done. Registration would have been impossible without this. Now we have a vehicle at home that we can’t drive to the VIN inspection. The dealer gave us a dealer plate in order to drive legally. Next, we noticed in our paperwork no copy of the limited warranty. State law requires it and it is effective when the copy is in hand. We were told varying versions of lies but miraculously a few days before the warranty expired, we got a copy! I would not recommend this dealership for a scooter! It felt like they delayed in order to let the warranty expire. Fortunately, our mechanic has gone through the vehicle and finds it to be sound. We eventually received plates and registration close to 60 days after purchase. It was a terrible experience. More

Although I didn’t get to deal with the dealership much James was not the most helpful employee. I went to look at a commuter car that their website said was on the lot when I showed up it wasn’t it was st James was not the most helpful employee. I went to look at a commuter car that their website said was on the lot when I showed up it wasn’t it was still in transit apparently, but the I was able to test drive another car that was very similar just a year or two older just to see how it was. After my test drive when we went to sit down and talk numbers I was then informed they have the stupid “market adjustment” fee or in other words the we want to gouge you for 2000+ dollars for no reason I made an offer that was slightly below MSRP and ended up offering a price that was $300 below MSRP and James says pshhh no they aren’t gonna accept that offer I’m not even going to take it to the manager it’s not worth my time. So I said really you’re not even going to take my offer he said no just cause they can sell it for the 2000 over to someone else. So I said ok fine and left. After driving 35 min back to my house I get a txt saying ok we will takeMSRP which I would have paid if they would have negotiated at the dealership and not made me drive all the way home. It was very rude to not even take my offer to the boos to ask. But that’s what you get with poor customer service would not recommend this place at all. More

Like many other reviews will state, they are inexplicably incompetent/uncooperative/lazy when it comes to registering vehicles. It makes no sense, but it is almost as if they WANT cars that have sold/been l incompetent/uncooperative/lazy when it comes to registering vehicles. It makes no sense, but it is almost as if they WANT cars that have sold/been leased to sit on their lot unregistered. No responsibility is taken, and at the end of the day, I had to do a lot of work myself to get the car registered. Incredibly frustrating experience all around. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. More

I am now on my 3rd Hyundai in a row, and all 3 have come from First. Each vehicle purchase gets better than the last. They always match me with a vehicle that is perfect for me, I always get a good deal, an from First. Each vehicle purchase gets better than the last. They always match me with a vehicle that is perfect for me, I always get a good deal, and the process always goes very well. This recent vehicle was the most challenging (for the sales person) by far (due to pandemic related issues, shortages, etc). However, James Clanton still managed to pair me with the perfect vehicle! He made what I thought would be the most complicated purchase, the EASIEST purchase to date! The process was seamless, and I'm loving my new vehicle. Thank you, James! More

What a let down. The entire staff there is corrupt. We somehow got paired with the biggest xxxxx. salesman that gives a horrible name and reputation to that profession; James Clanton. This guy will promi somehow got paired with the biggest xxxxx. salesman that gives a horrible name and reputation to that profession; James Clanton. This guy will promise you anything to get your money, then he does great at avoiding you. Delivered a vehicle that was not what we had paid for, and never made it right. After numerous requests, not only himself but also the rest of the staff avoided us. I'm surprised that guy has made it as far in life as he has in the automotive industry, as he clearly lacks professionalism and customer relation skills. Do yourself a favor, and take your money and business somewhere else. This place isn't worth the frustration. Bunch of incompetent thieves. Horrible experience. The worst car buying experience ever. This place is an absolute joke and have the audacity to brag about their 5 star reviews...HAHAHAA! Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have literally called the dealership 7 times in 4 months brag about their 5 star reviews...HAHAHAA! Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have literally called the dealership 7 times in 4 months because we STILL have not received the registration for our vehicle. 4 MONTHS! I Left 3 messages and 2 texts for salesman James Clanton (told me a week ago that he'd "call me back in 10 minutes") and another 2 messages left with the extremely unfriendly receptionist and never received a call back. Also, in the middle of our vehicle negotiations, James took not one but two personal phone calls. How professional! They called us 3 times a week when the lease was almost up but after we bought the car and they got out money, that's when the customer service ended. Save yourself the aggravation and lack of customer service and shop elsewhere! More

Worst customer service ever. Salesman was a liar, and not a single person would return a phone call or email. Not worth the frustration or stress. Save yourself much time, energy, and frustration by looking a single person would return a phone call or email. Not worth the frustration or stress. Save yourself much time, energy, and frustration by looking to purchase a vehicle from somewhere else, do not give these guys your business. They do a poor job of representing car salesmen, as there are certainly nice people out there worth someone's time and willing to work with a customer, but the people at First Hyundai aren't it. These clowns are lying crooks. If I could give them zero stars I totally would, but it won't let me, so unfortunately they get 1 star. Seriously, purchasing a car is a big deal, and can be stressful. This establishment is all about getting your money and then dropping you 100%, it's not worth the time or stress that these guys add to it. Go to a dealership who really wants their customers to leave happy and satisfied. More
