Hi Ariyan, I would like to clear some things up for you. When you purchased your 2017 Toyota Yaris iA on 9/6/17, you did NOT pay $2,000 for the "Toyota Tire & Wheel" protection. If you look at your sales contract, it clearly states you paid $840. Our finance manager also told you the tire & wheel protection replaces you tires if they're damaged caused by a road hazard...this is also clearly stated on the contract paperwork you signed when you purchased your vehicle. "Tire & Wheel" protection covers damage caused by conditions defined as eligible road hazards which affect the performance of the tires/wheels as a result of the tire failing to hold air, or the wheel failing to seal with the new tire; such failures may prevent the maintenance of the manufacturer’s air pressure specifications. Road Hazards are commonly defined as debris on a public roadway such as nails, glass, potholes, rocks, tree limbs or other objects or conditions not normally found in the roadway. On 2/23/18, we replaced one of your tires because there was a nail in it. Since this was caused by a road hazard, your tire was replaced at no charge. On 5/1/18, One Toyota of Oakland replaced another tire for you because they noted sidewall damage...again possibly caused by a road hazard, the tire was replace at no charge. On 8/24/18, when you brought your vehicle in for your 35,000 mile service, our technician recommended you replace the other 2 tires because the tread was running low (3/32 & 4/32). This is NOT considered a road hazard...this is considered normal wear & tear. The tread of a tire wears down after time the longer you drive on it. As it was explained to you before, normal wear & tear is NOT covered by Toyota's tire & wheel protection, it's NOT covered by extended service contract warranty, it's NOT covered by Toyota Care Plus maintenance agreement or anything else you purchased. Our shop manager Raymond doesn't need to look up the history of your free tire replacements in the past, it has no bearing on the fact that normal wear & tear is NOT covered...only road hazard damage. I'm sorry if you thought I was condescending earlier this afternoon...I was just trying to address your unfounded accusations about the integrity of our sales & service departments with the facts. Customer service is important to us...but we can't ignore the facts. I'll be more than happy to review your sales contract with you and answer any questions you may have. Regards, Jason Kim General Manager
