My 4th Subaru Purchase I just purchased my 4th Subaru (my 2nd from Crews). With both purchases, we worked with Rhett Crull. Rhett absolutely goes above and beyond not only d I just purchased my 4th Subaru (my 2nd from Crews). With both purchases, we worked with Rhett Crull. Rhett absolutely goes above and beyond not only during the purchasing process, but also after (requests for accessories, how to program, etc.). I have had maintenance done on all of my vehicles at the dealership as well. The service staff is very knowledgeable, and never pushy. The prices are very competitive, and often cheaper. They also wash the car with each servicing, which is a nice bonus. With each of my purchases, the service staff was happy to assist by discussing records of service problems with various models to ensure I was making the best choice. I think from a business model standpoint, Crews has it exactly right- the employees are well-compensated and do not rely on commissions, which makes the buying experience much more pleasant. They are also incredibly dog and family-friendly...and who doesn't love that? Unfortunately for Crews, I won't be seeing them for another vehicle purchase for quite sometime since I just bought 2 and my last lasted 10 years with nothing more than routine maintenance. However, when the time comes, I will absolutely give them my business again. To recap: Crews has exceptional service, amazing staff, and the best product for safety, value, and reliability. More

No matter hard the service department worked on it, the problem would not go away. After many months of visits to the dealer, the issue always returned. Matt Davis devoted much time and effort on my behalf. He was later joined by Doug Botten in working towards a solution. These two employees deserve much recognition as they represented the Crews dealership and Subaru Motors in a most persistent and professional manner. Together with the Service Dept. manager, Jason Parish, the decision was made to replace the engine short block with a new one, even though my warranty had expired! Over my years with this car, I have recommended Subaru to several friends, some of whom purchased Subarus of their own. My faith in the product and the service, I believe, is fully justified! I traded my 8 year old Outback, my third Subaru purchase since 1998, for my fourth Subaru -the 2018 Crosstek. Very fair trade in value and discount off sticker price. Paperwork quickly processed, and car was made ready for me same day to drive away. And I am delighted with the newly updated and remodeled Crosstek which packs a lot of value in a reasonable list price. I have had my 2010 Outback serviced at Crews Subaru since purchased. Service department and staff (Jason, Matt, and Doug) are very knowledgeable, polite, and capable. And Kevin and his colleagues like Brett in the parts department have always been helpful, and parts arrive quickly. I can enthusiastically recommend this dealership as well as Subaru vehicles. I doubt I will ever buy another brand. More

Loving my 2017 Subaru Outback! After months of researching vehicles, I decided that a 2017 Subaru Outback would be the perfect vehicle for my needs. In early August, I visited Crews After months of researching vehicles, I decided that a 2017 Subaru Outback would be the perfect vehicle for my needs. In early August, I visited Crews Subaru and took an Outback on a test drive with Robert (in sales). Robert was helpful during the test drive and was able to explain all of the ‘bells and whistles’ to me. I test drove the 4-cyl and the 6-cyl versions of the Outback. I went home that night, looks at Crews Subaru’s inventory online for the various Outbacks on the lot, and went back the next day to purchase. The next morning, I supplied Robert with the VIN of my specific Subaru Outback on the lot that had everything I wanted in it. SALES: The process of purchasing my vehicle was relatively painless. I was able to negotiate a fair price with Robert and Josh, the sales manager. Also, extended warranty options were explained to me, and I chose to purchase an extended warranty. TRADE: I was disappointed that Jerry, the used car manager, offered me 50% of Kelley Blue Book value for my potential Jeep trade. While I understand that they do need to make a profit off of my potential trade, there was no reason to offer 50% of KBB. Had I been offered even 75% of KBB value, I probably would have traded to avoid the hassle of selling my car. I chose to keep my Jeep; I sold it a week later on Craigslist for 99% of KBB value. Jerry’s lowballing of my potential trade FINANCE: Finance was quite easy. I believe my finance manager’s name was Al. He was kind, knowledgeable, and utilized a super-cool touchscreen table for the signing of all documents. Jason, the service manager, introduced himself to me before I left. SERVICE: There was a small cosmetic issue with my new Outback, so I made an appointment with service to replace the part. I came back a few days later for this service, bringing my Labrador with me as we were headed to the vet next. My dog is sweet and smart but also large, drooly, and shedding. While my dog and I waited in the customer service lounge, several employees came over to pet her, refill her water bowl, and offer her treats. I appreciated the dog-friendly atmosphere, although I felt guilty about getting her hair and drool on the floor (she’s a messy drinker). While I have only had a week of experience with Crews Subaru’s sales, finance, and service departments, all is well thus far. The 2017 Outback, of course, is fantastic. More

Another awesome experience at "The Subie Store"! Wow, so many to praise...I'll start with the Service Ctr: Doug definitely left me feeling like my 2010 Forester was going to be well taken care of and Wow, so many to praise...I'll start with the Service Ctr: Doug definitely left me feeling like my 2010 Forester was going to be well taken care of and it was. I returned a week later for something I was only curious about and Matt just went above and beyond in addressing that (kudos also to Thomas on the Mx floor). Now, on to Sales: Josh and Millet...bottom line, if you don't already have your favorites in Sales definitely see them. They represent the brand and the dealership with the highest marks in my opinion. Miss Linda led us right to our newest Forester online and Miss Pam helped us drive it away! Glad to be part of the Subie family. Thanks, guys. All fives! More

New tire I had a blow out on my front tire and came into the Service Center for a new one a few months ago. I just purchased my second Crosstrek and found out I had a blow out on my front tire and came into the Service Center for a new one a few months ago. I just purchased my second Crosstrek and found out that my extended service contract covered the new tire. When we inquired about the charge, Scott checked with the Service Center and H.R. We received a call later telling us the entire cost of the tire would be refunded even though we didn't claim it at the time. We have purchased 4 cars from this dealer and get all service from them...great place and great people. More

This is, by far, the very best car dealersh I am writing this review to let folks know how pleased I am with my service at Crews Subaru of Charleston. This is, by far, the very best car dealership I have ever been to. Their customer service is above & beyond the best. Jason & Matt are especially to be commended for their service. They are always always courteous, efficient, extremely professional & caring of their customers. I came to Charleston almost 4 years ago, after driving from Arizona with my 2004 Outback. When it was time to purchase a new car, I did not go to any other dealer but Crews, due to the type of service I continually receive. Others I have spoken to, while waiting for my car to be serviced, feel the same way. I will always continue to service my wonderful 2014 Outback Subaru at Crews; mostly because of the service I receive from Jason & Matt. I can't remember my salesman for my 2014, but think it was Scott, who was also awesome. More
