I have had my 2011 Elantra Limited for over seven years. I had issues with everything that was an upgrade on the vehicle starting with the Bluetooth immediately on bring the car home up to recently the sunroof and the key-less entry door handle falling off. After various excuses and explanations regard the Bluetooth, John Little approved its replacement in 2017. Only took six years and my going to the head of the Service department. The more recent failures happened after warranty but again going the head of Service, Andrew Hutchinson and sharing my overall experience, he stepped up to the plate and took care of all the problems. I have to admit that at one point I was ready to throw the car away but now that all the problems have been fixed and everything on the car is working properly, my faith has been restored in the dealership. I have to say I believe I just got a lemon and this experience is not typical of the vehicle. Hopefully I can look forward to year of good service from the vehicle.
The employee that met me at my car was very professional and helpful. There were quite a few cars in front of me so I feared it would take some time to get in but he told me to check inside the office but that he didn’t expect it would be long
The employee at the desk was very helpful. He explained to me that even though there were a lot of cars, they were not getting oil changes. He said I was #1 or 2 so I waited. The wait was not long and the desk employee gave me all the information I asked for, I.e., # free oil changes I had left; information on a filter I had purchased at an earlier visit and why I had to pay for it even though I had the car for less than 6 months etc.
Overall service was excellent. Only complaint I have is the mechanic always moves my headlights from AUTO to Manual. I don’t notice it until I’m driving at night with no lights!
