Poor Handling of Post Purchase Quality and Issues The sale went fine, however, there was an acceleration issue that was discovered shortly after we left the lot... the car hesitated when the accelerat The sale went fine, however, there was an acceleration issue that was discovered shortly after we left the lot... the car hesitated when the accelerator was pressed, and at one time even bogged down to the point of almost stopping during a left-hand turn. This was promptly brought to the dealership's attention and after over a week of back and forth, they were unable to find a problem and unwilling to fix the clear acceleration/safety issue that anyone who didn't work for Jim Ellis clearly noticed. During this period of time calls were left unreturned, we were made to feel as though the issue was in our heads (even though we drove four other identical cars that accelerated just fine), lies were told, and in the end, when our car was returned to us, it drove as it was supposed to, even though supposedly nothing was found or done to the car. Our trust was broken on several levels, and we cannot in good conscience recommend anyone visit Jim Ellis VW in Kennesaw. More

Tire Rotation I went some place else for oil change and was told the bolt was overtighned and could not perform tire rotation. Jim Ellis rotated the tires and also I went some place else for oil change and was told the bolt was overtighned and could not perform tire rotation. Superb work diagnosing and resolving GTI chassis issue Superb work provided in addressing a very annoying problem on my 2014 GTI. The GTI developed a disturbing pop and rattle in the floor pan / underneath Superb work provided in addressing a very annoying problem on my 2014 GTI. The GTI developed a disturbing pop and rattle in the floor pan / underneath the dashboard that occurred under braking and when making sharp turns. Kevin Hartley accompanied me on several test drives to understand the nature of the problem. He diagnosed and resolved this very nuanced problem with my chassis subframe and now my GTI is rock-solid thanks to his persistence and expertise. Rafael provided excellent customer relations in supporting me with a loaned vehicle and keeping me up to date on the work.
