Great experience My experience with Jon B, Fred R & Lotoya J was GREAT with helping me with my leasing a 2018 Corolla. However, the person whom called me last Wednesd My experience with Jon B, Fred R & Lotoya J was GREAT with helping me with my leasing a 2018 Corolla. However, the person whom called me last Wednesday March 21, 2018 not sure of her name but sounded like Gerydaly whom lured me in to end my lease early with a new lease with no down payment and lower monthly payments was not true. This was the first time this has has happened in my 20 years of my dealing with Toyota of Orlando and hope to continue my relationship. More

Dishonest Staff On October 14, 2017, my uncle MB went to Toyota of Orlando (3575 Vineland Road, Orlando, FL) to start his car shopping quest. My uncle ended up test d On October 14, 2017, my uncle MB went to Toyota of Orlando (3575 Vineland Road, Orlando, FL) to start his car shopping quest. My uncle ended up test driving a 2017 Rav4 and like the vehicle. The asking price was $21,995. My uncle negotiated the price down to $21,495. My uncle traded in his old Honda Accord which he was given $400 for and put $2000 as a down payment. My uncle ended doing the financing the same day. A week later my uncle decided that he wanted to pay the vehicle off. When my uncle pulled out the contract he realized that the amount he had agreed to with the salesmen wasn’t the amount that was in the sales contract. My uncle made the mistake of not wearing his glasses and actually believed that the financing rep was being honest with him. My uncle is from Haiti with no education and doesn’t write nor read in any language. My uncle quickly brought the contract to me to further review. In reviewing the paper work, I notice they had a $399 SUV mat that my uncle never requested or agreed to. On October 21st my uncle returned back to the dealership to speak to the salesman supervisor, Kyle Carter. Kyle said there was nothing that can be done. Kyle told my uncle that the $500 that they agreed to take off the purchase price was taken off through the finance of the vehicle. (Which doesn’t make sense). My uncle told Kyle that he had never agreed to pay almost $400 for some mats. My uncle was also over charged on the tag transfer fee by $200. At the end of the conversation Kyle said that there was nothing that he could do for my uncle. While at the dealership my uncle called me while speaking with Kyle. I asked my uncle to put me on the phone with Kyle. Kyle indicated “he was busy and didn’t have time to talk”. I hung up and ended calling the dealership back to request to speak with Kyle’s supervisor. I was transferred to someone in the same position as Kyle who ended putting Kyle on the phone. Kyle tried to explain to me that my uncle had agreed to paying $399 for the mats and even wrote mat on the contract. I informed Kyle that my uncle cannot read nor write in any language so how was he able to write the word “mat”. Kyle had no response other then he just did. I then indicate to Kyle that I felt due to my uncles language barrier and him being illiterate he had been taken advantage of. On October 27th, I went to the dealership to speak with Kyle’s boss, Yanni. I explained the situation to him. Yanni indicated he would get with the accounting department to review the deal and follow up with me either Monday, October 30th or Tuesday the 31st. On Tuesday the 31st I received a call from Customer Service Supervisor, Cynthia. Cynthia indicate that Yanni had her to give me a call and that there was nothing they could do to reverse the deal. I explained to Cynthia the frustration of my uncle being taken advantage of and all she did was apologize the entire time. My uncle works super hard to provide for his family and it truly breaks my heart to know that he was ripped off by these folks. And the worst part is that none of these people especially Kyle has any remorse for what they did to him. People like this will continue to display low morals and continue to take advantage of people as long as we the consumer allow them too. I would and will recommend that any buy from this dealership as they have shown they have no problem with being dishonest. More
