I want to again correct a couple things that you are expressing as I have already done in emails directly to you and in response to your complaint with the Tennessee Division of Customer Affairs two times to date. This entity has accepted our answers with the backup paperwork we supplied to them. You absolutely do not have to pay for your tax and tag twice per your complaint here on Google and other venues you are using in an effort to hurt us when we did absolutely nothing wrong. Tennessee is a reciprocal state with Florida. Per the reciprocity agreement between the two states, we collected 6% sales tax being a Florida dealer. We also had you sign a form stating that you paid that much sales tax and when you do the tag and title work in your home state and home DMV office, you will receive credit for this amount of tax that was paid. You will have to pay any additional tax and title fees per your state. You are paying zero more tax in total than if you purchased a unit in your home State. If you were financing the purchase, we would have been forced to do the tag and title work for you at your local DMV in the state you are registering it in. This would have been due to regulations the banks require to ensure that they are added as lienholder to the titles. When we do this, we use a 3rd party vendor who supplies all the paperwork for us on your behalf. Every state and every county have different requirements and as a Florida dealer, we would in no way be able to administer this ourselves. This 3rd party vendor does in fact charge a fee to do this and that fee is then charged to the customer. Because you paid cash, we collected only the amount of tax that is reciprocal, had you sign the forms needed so that when you go to your local DMV the tax paid to us would be credited to the total tax and you would only have to pay the difference between the two. If for some reason your local DMV will not accept that you already paid 6% sales tax per the paperwork, we supplied to you then I will of course eat crow, give you a full refund of the tax amount per that form and you can then pay for your sales tax in total plus any tag and title fees your state charges. I am not disrespecting you by this response, just informing. My information matches the paperwork, matches my questions with our employees and matches the conversations you have had with our employees after receiving your first email complaint. I am also going to use this response to answer the other complaints you posted because they are the same complaints you published in all of them to date. CEO Larry

Thank you for your constructive criticism. I will use it for a customer service meeting next time I am in our Giant Recreation World of Ormond Beach location. Nothing bad comes from good input. I also wanted to point out that our time until the next appointment is down to under 30-days now at this location so we are making great strides in catching up. It doesn't help that we are still experiencing parts shortages every time we turn around. Our RV Warranty Forever was included in your purchase at no charge to you. All you have to do is to have an annual inspection performed at any certified RV Repair Center, send a copy of the bill along with a coupon via text, email or postal mail to them and it will be in extended another year. The repairs performed under this warranty can be done by any certified RV Repair Center as well and has zero deductible for any covered item. Make sure that you don't allow it to lapse because it is a major benefit to have it. They pay claims without any hassle and even pay the dealer doing the repairs once preauthorized with a credit card so the dealers love to work with them as well. Thanks for your business, CEO Larry.

Hi Larry. We don't know about any lifetime warranty that was included with our purchase. What we heard was that we would have to pay $300 a yr to bring in our camper & they would check it out & tell us what it would cost to actually fix it. If they found something small as a quick fix, they would fix it for the $300 already paid for the "inspection". If they found anything else we would have to pay extra to have it fixed. So we don't know anything else about a lifetime warranty included in our purchase. If it was included in the purchase price, where is it in the paperwork? Maybe you could call us to explain it because we didn't hear this when we purchased. Originally when we heard from Julie, when we brought it in, she said they were pretty much caught up, but about a week before when we called, CJ said they were 2 to 3 months behind. They did have it for a month to fix it all. But when you're trying to get things fixed in the first year, these 2 to 3 month delays, eat up your 1st yr warranty. Plus now they are charging for odds & ends like a clamp or rags which originally we weren't charged for. We thought all that was included in the first year warranty like on a new car. But what exactly is this lifetime warranty that was included in the purchase price, and why are they now charging us for rags, etc., that they use when working on it? Also, we were quoted a price over the phone for installation of a camera (which should have been a quick job, since the trailer is pre-wired for such) but when we picked it up, the charge was double what we had been quoted. They initially told us it was a half hour job, but then said it took an hour. After, we protested, they did write off the extra charges. You can see how having to get hit with all these different charges, time quotes, etc. depending on who you talk with, can be very frustrating, and it leaves the customer, wondering where the truth is and why the charges are different upon pickup of the trailer!
