While riding with Courtney, I got the impression we were told to return to the dealership promptly, as I was not his customer - and that another sales rep was waiting. That seemed very rude and unprofessional to me, as I really hadn't established with anyone at that point. I think another sales rep had sent me a couple pictures, but most of my prior interaction was with a sales manager. It was all downhill from there. I decided to purchase this vehicle, and during/after the sale, I experienced numerous issues. First, I was not provided with a copy of the CARFAX report and the CPO warranty as required by a Genesis CPO sale. I had to request those items after the fact. Secondly, the dealership failed to register my vehicle as CPO with Genesis HQ. I found out my vehicle wasn't showing up as CPO in the Genesis system while contacting HQ about another issue. Again, it took several requests to the dealership to get that accomplished. Next, I discovered that the reversible cargo mat that was in the vehicle during ALL 3 of my test drives (and on the window sticker for the car) was NOT in the vehicle after I took ownership of it. I did reach out to the GM of the dealership who did take swift action to replace it - yet they apparently had no idea how the cargo mat could have just disappeared. More recently, I am still waiting for the tax and title paperwork that was promised to me by the Business Manager at the dealership. During the sales transaction, he told me that "in a few weeks, the dealership would reach out to let me know that they had the tax/title paperwork completed, and that I could come by the dealership to get it or have it mailed to me". That was about 6 weeks ago now. When I reached out to the dealership about it, they told me I needed to go through my bank for those documents. Well, that's not what I've done before, nor is that what I was told by the Business Manager during the sale. I love my rig, that I cannot deny. However, nearly everything associated with the sale and everything since has been a disaster. Yes, I have a cargo mat - but why was it removed? Yes, I have my CARFAX and CPO docs, but why did I have to request them? Yes, the vehicle is now registered as CPO w/Genesis, but why did I have to ask for that to happen? And where in the xxxx are the tax/title documents I was promised by the Business Manager (who by the way didn't know that the CPO warranty was 6 years/75,000). He assured me it was 5/60. I had to look it up in front of him to show him he was incorrect. I can only hope that once they open their stand alone Genesis dealership that things will be MUCH, MUCH better. I've never had such a negative car buying experience as this one. I rated the GM at 4 stars for getting me my missing cargo mat quickly (once I pointed out it was missing). I also rated Nathan at 4 stars, as he has been very helpful with getting me all the aforementioned missing items. I would have rated Courtney at 5 stars, but he no longer works there. My overall experience is rated at 1 star based on the numerous hassles and inconveniences I've experienced since driving this vehicle home. When purchasing a $70K+ luxury vehicle, the expectation should be that the buyer would have a smooth and effort-free transaction. Mine has been the exact opposite. More

However, the ones you DON"T talk to are the ones you should worry about (IE: Sales/Finance Managers). Assisted my dad in finding a newer replacement car after his previous purchase at this dealership 3-5 years earlier. The previous loan was filled with "PORK" to the tune of $2,000-$2500 where there was a gap in the value vs amount owed on the car. This caused my dad to owe in order to pay off old car. To the tune of $3000 (after heated negotiations). These clowns had the nerve to ask for $5000 down on 2+ yr old car! However, for this newer car purchase, they tried the same stuff, wanted $5k down for a man with 750+ score, however didn't go thru previous credit union for financing. Why? GOOD QUESTION: Because they KNEW they were planning to gap/pork it up again and the credit union who previously financed it wouldn't go for it, so they LIED & said it was after hours so they couldn't get into their system to initiate financing through them, they would try another. Yeah, at a higher interest rate to get the kickback I'm sure. As the documents clearly explain once you dissect & extract the details from them, like we did once we returned home. WHY NOT just finance through the dealership/Hyundai, it a CPO vehicle?! We went thru the paperwork after returning home to find $1,500+ over what was agreed to in costs. This needs to be returned promptly! NO more gap/pork from you. This as a result increased the monthly payment by apprx $25/month, after they tried to stick him with steering wheel issues on trade-in that were factory recall/warranty covered recovery(that wasn't fixed). It appears the breakdown was as such: they tacked on an extra $500 to the warranty costs (quoted $1,999, actually $2,499) & $1000 reduced on trade-in value (fair/good condition). Now, just the NEXT DAY I see the older traded-in car posted for sale (car listing from their website kept for reference) for 75% more than what was allowed on the trade. I can see 50% is standard, 75% is EXTREME FLEECING IMO! To "intentionally fleece" customers by not disclosing information property in order to mislead the consumer out of more money unbeknownst to them my be FRAUD (amongst others)! To be so reckless as to stake your business reputation like this over $1,500 will cost you much more in reputation overall if you insist you want to do business this way going forward. We have forwarded this information for consult in order to come to a resolution in regards to this matter as it seems to be quite the "common practice" at this dealership. Friendly all while being Sneaky & Flaky...WATCH OUT! More

Just a bit more than a week ago, rather on a whim, I walked onto the car lot at St.Charles Hyundai JUST TO LOOK. Over the past month I had looked at/driven SUVs at Toyota, Honda, Mazda, and Ford. On this particular day, the subjects were the Hyundai Tucson and Santa Fe. Enter Mr. Nathan Nazari. After introductions, Mr. Nazari proceeded to explain the inventory of these two models. He patiently showed us vehicle after vehicle. I chose to test drive the Santa Fe. My conclusion after the test drive: the Santa Fe exceeded all other makes/models I had previously looked at. Mr. Nazari was friendly, very professional, knowledgeable and thorough throughout the purchasing process, answering all of our questions regarding Hyundai and specifically the Santa Fe. Upon picking up the vehicle the next afternoon, Mr. Nazari gave an in-depth explanation/demonstration of all the features on the Santa Fe SEL. I am so pleased to have had Mr. Nazari as the salesman who approached us at the dealership. I would certainly highly recommend him to friends, family and anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. Additionally, I would highly recommend St. Charles Hyundai for your automotive needs. More

I am highly I have to give a big shout out to Joe Ford and Nathan Nazari! We bought a loaner vehicle that had animal hair in it, which we did not see. I am highly allergic. They sent it out for detail and to be ionized. That did not help. As a last resort I asked Joe to help make things right and he did. A few hours later I walked out of the dealership with a 2020 Tuscon. I highly recommend this dealership, if you are looking for a vehicle. Please ask for Nathan. He is not high pressure and great to work with! They really are about customer service! More

My salesman Nathan Nazari was so helpful, walked me through every step of the process, and answered all my questions. He made this process so easy for me, and worked with me on price to get it into a range I could afford. I was intimidated at the thought of buying a car, but Nathan and also Craig Smith, who I spoke to in finance, made everything so understandable and I felt really comfortable doing business with them.
