Overall I’m very happy with the purchase of this vehicle. Working with Driveway was an absolute pleasure. I felt we were mislead by dealer. I was told you couldn’t sell me the vehicle because California did Working with Driveway was an absolute pleasure. I felt we were mislead by dealer. I was told you couldn’t sell me the vehicle because California did allow you to sell it to an out of state purchase. Learned that that actually is a Lithia policy directing everyone to Driveway. Other than that we love the car. It would have been nice if it came with two remote Jed and the left front headlight low beam is out, should have been caught on dealer inspection. Very poor customer service, have some integrity. Manager and sale consultant (Oscar) I have given over two weeks to fix an error and still waiting for a response. Went to dealership to resolve and was told and sale consultant (Oscar) I have given over two weeks to fix an error and still waiting for a response. Went to dealership to resolve and was told manager did not have time and would call. Still waiting for call... Would never buy another car here or ever recommend any one else. It is unfortunate the dealership changed owners not the same. More

I purchased my RX at Lexus of Sacramento 20 years ago. I have always taken my car to your service department for major repairs. The personnel are friendly and kept me informed. I will not recommend this dealership to anyone. We went in to purchase our third vehicle from this dealership. We were in the market for an RX 350 with the luxury package. They didn’t have what we were in to purchase our third vehicle from this dealership. We were in the market for an RX 350 with the luxury package. They didn’t have what we were looking for so the salesman said he would see if it was available anywhere nearby and see if he could get it. We talked a couple of days later and he said he found it and would be able to get it but the dealership is charging $5000 over MSRP, there is no negotiation. He also said that the dealerships in the Bay Area are charging $10-$15 thousand over MSRP. I told him I wasn’t paying that. I then spoke with two other dealerships and was informed that they weren’t gouging their customers by charging over MSRP. I told one of the salesman what I was looking for, he called me back and said he found the exact vehicle we wanted and was able to work out a trade with that dealership. Our car was currently in transit from the factory to the other dealership. It arrived last night, our dealership picked it up this morning and we brought it home tonight. Again, this would have been the third vehicle we would have purchased from Lexus of Sacramento and I’m sure we will be buying more in the future. You’ve lost a customer because of the ridiculous practice of attempting to gouge your customers due to the current shortage of vehicles due to the microchip shortage. This seems very shortsighted to me. You may want to let your management/owners know that they have lost at least one customer due to this (my guess is that you’ve lost more than just us). I will be informing my friends, family and acquaintances of this situation and advise them to use an alternate dealership, the one we used in particular. We are very disappointed in Lexus of Sacramento at this time. More
