The customer service could be better if they improved their communication. I had to reschedule my first appointment because nobody informed me how long my recall would take. I showed up for my appointmen their communication. I had to reschedule my first appointment because nobody informed me how long my recall would take. I showed up for my appointment to be asked if I was dropping it off because the recall could potentially take all day and that they normally dont do recalls on the weekend. When I eventually did have my appointment, they told me it wouldn't take all day, that 8hrs was the longest, and it wouldn't take that long. My appointment was for 0830, and they told me they would call me when it was ready. I received a text around 1330 with a video of the inspection performed on my vehicle. After waiting and waiting, I finally decided to call the service department to check and see if my car was ready at 1520. I was told that it was recommended that I get 2 things looked at, to which I responded what about the recall I brought it in for. The response I received was...oh that should be done. Upset that nobody called me I asked if they could schedule a pick up for me to come get my vehicle. When I arrived there was zero communication no apology no explanation as to why I never received a call. More

Dropped off my truck for an entire dsy for an oil change appointment. When I picked up the truck the oil change had not been completed and I was not contacted by Southern Ford to explain that. Communication was lacking. Seemed to be inexperienced technicians as they could not recognize faulty cam phasers. Initial report was the were no abnormal sounds. Vehicle was in shop for almost 4 weeks while the same repair on my expedition previously only took 3 days. Workmanship resulted in the Engine Control system has detected a misalignment between the engines internal components which required additional rework and more time in the shop. More
