JEOBANE, Thank you for the review. We did some digging and wanted to offer further information. We actually spoke to the engineers on your issue. We have a special-order part still coming on your truck. They asked for us to hold it. You turned down a free rental because enterprise could not offer you a full-size truck. We are sorry about that, but we can't control what a 3rd party company does. When the part arrives, we will contact you. We hope with you going against what General Motors recommended things do not get worse with your vehicle. If you decide to want to drop off the truck and pick up the rental, we would be happy to make that happen. We do not want for things to get worse. We would recommend you follow the manufacturer suggested.

The reason why I didn’t leave my truck there was because 1. After the dealership had 2 days with my truck to check the diagnostic, nobody could give me an estimated time of how long it would take to fix it because the parts that needed fixing were restricted and I need my truck for work and also 2. When I agreed to leave my truck and go with the 3rd party rental you guys recommend, it was actually impossible to find ANY vehicle. I preferred a truck due to my line of work but was okay with any vehicle but when I called 8 different enterprises, they had 0 vehicles available for me which is why I decided to take my truck back. I need it, that’s why I bought it. This is extremely disappointing as this issue was clearly not my fault. This is a brand new truck and I would assume the dealership would have a vehicle available to let me use while working on my truck. Because I remember clearly, the day I BOUGHT my truck, it was not going to be ready within 24 hours & the dealership GLADLY offered me a similar truck to use while my truck was getting prepped, which I declined. I just don’t understand the difference of treatment here. Once the customer buys the truck do you guys not care anymore?- because that’s what this is implying. This is my 3rd brand new Chevrolet Silverado I have bought within the past 3 years but my first time with this dealership and I am disappointed, which this specific dealership.

JEOBANE We are sorry you feel this way. Of course, we care! Please keep this in mind. This year it is a new engine, and we followed the instructions we were given by General Motors Engineering. Again, we cannot control obviously what Enterprise does or keeps in stock. As of right now we are at the mercy of them for rentals as well as all other GM Dealerships. Probably that's why they have such low inventory. We totally understand the stress of this happening. Especially on a brand-new Silverado. We do apologize for all the inconvenience. General Motors does offer a customer service department. Due to this being a manufacture defect there may be some incentives available to you. There is number is 1-800-243-8872. Hopefully we can get your truck fixed and get this all behind you.
