Rob took the time to get to know us and what we liked. We really wanted a Mazda, but he convinced us that a Subaru was better. We test drove both brands and learned about each. "Couldn't get out fast enough"

I had an appointment at Team last Saturday to talk about purchasing a new car. Things started out fine: the first salesman I spoke with asked me what I was looking for, and I told him I wanted a 2017 Forester, no leather, not loaded, just a step up from the basic model. I also told him I didn't want to finance. He showed me a Forester, with leather, more than I was looking for or wanted to pay. Then Rob came over - this is where things went downhill fast. Rob is your stereotypical car salesman - I definitely felt like he treated my sister and me like idiots because we're women. He then went on to try and sell me a loan rather than a car. Wouldn't talk about the price, just wrote it in pen on a piece of paper, and instead went on and on about this loan I needed and how I could boost my credit score and how easy it would be to pay off. All of this after one of the first things I said was that I didn't want to finance! He's clearly ignorant about common decency and used inappropriate and discriminatory language throughout my appointment. I felt like I couldn't get out of there! Finally managed to end the conversation and on my way out another salesman practically chased us down to tell us how great Rob is. Clearly these guys can't take a hint. We went straight over to Larry Miller and had the best experience - everyone we dealt with was kind, helpful and respectful. They actually listened to what I wanted and didn't try to push me into anything I wasn't looking for. Save yourself the trip to Caldwell and avoid this place at all costs.
