"Avoid Ferman For Used Cars"
I purchased a pre-owned trade in from Ferman. A 2010 Volvo XC90 V8 which was a local one owner purchased new at Ferman Volvo. There were several items that needed attention and was assured by Rob, the manager, that Ferman stands behind the Ferman name. I picked up my car a week later and paid cash. Items were repaired but it was difficult to start. The car was highlighted as having a great 90 day 3000 mi power train warranty. Two and a half weeks later the car was nearly impossible to start. I took it to Criwn Volvo and was informed the starter was completely shot. $1300! Yes $1300 for a car that was thoroughly inspected and Ferman road ready. This is not a fly by night buy here, pay here, it is a large local family of dealers. Strongly advise to avoid believing the pitch or take the car to another dealer mechanic before signing anything.

I was told based on my credit score they would be able to get me financed at a reasonable rate and my payment would be at $350 or near. They failed dispite my credit s ore actually being better than I reported. The car was a little dirty at delivery with streaky wipers. When I asked for new wipers I was told the service manager wasn’t in and was told I’d have to come back another day.
