Sold me a xxxx box… you see nice cars and think they won’t but the truck they sold me at top dollar looks and feels like it sat in a field for years.. dust plate broke off on the way home and cut the ab won’t but the truck they sold me at top dollar looks and feels like it sat in a field for years.. dust plate broke off on the way home and cut the abs line almost crashed with my 2 year old in it. Door handle broke first pull when I stopped for gas on the way home. These guys are the worst. They took someone would didn’t have very much to work with in the first place and straight xxxxx me… never again will I go to a dealer and I will always say the worst things about this place More

I am a firm believer in honesty and the direct facts. I also believe if you don’t know something for 100 % certainty then figure out the answer with 100% certainty before speaking on the topic. I bought a truck from Lakeside Chevy, drove 4 hours to get the truck, traded in my vehicle and thought we were all on the same page as far as how much I was going to pay for the vehicle. Turns out the salesman threw a paper in front of me and just kept showing me what my payment would be and didn’t emphasize the fact that they charge a 1200 fee for each vehicle. There is a lot given to you when u buy a vehicle so it just irritates me that he never said anything about this. That fee is rediculous. Just add it to the amount of the truck and be forth coming. I hate hidden fees and why would it be on the buyer to pay for the prep fees? The dealership bought the truck it’s the cost of doing busines. I already paid them for doc fees and all the other costs that’s just highway robbery and to not say anything about it just have it on piece of paper in addition to all the other paperwork is bad business practices. Also, I was out of state and they kept telling me I didn’t need a plate I could drive with the bill of sale. I knew that was not accurate but they were sooo sure of it. I got home and called our DMV and of course I was right you have to have a temp plate to be legal. I called the Huntington office and talked to the titling department and I got a very helpful lady name Rena. She got me a temp plate over nighted and then instead of waiting 4 weeks for. 3rd party she sent me the title so I could take it in myself and I was able to get my IL plate so much quicker and on my time schedule. The salesman and the finance guy kept acting r like they worked with customers from IL but clearly they did not and all they cared about was their commission and not my well being. Again this is terrible business practice. If you are going to buy from Lakeside go to the Huntington office because the Warsaw location will just lead you in all the wrong directions. They knowledge and ethics which is very important. I also did not like how the finance guy who tried selling additional warranties got attitude when I declined. Get over it dude extended warranties are pointless and you know it that’s why you could never make eye contact. More

Absolutely the best dealer I have ever dealt with. Ron Blum was excellent. They really know how to take care of the customer. The service department was very curtious and friendly. I do have to give a discouraging word on the detail staff, they really dropped the ball. I had my truck in for almost 61/2 hours for an oil change, tire rotate and balance and new wipers blades, all that went smoothly. I also was supposed to receive a complete detail service, that went very badly. Again, the sales and service department was great, just not the detail. Other than that, I would gladly send all my family and friends to Lakeside Chevrolet. Thanks again Ron. More
