UPDATE 7/30/23: I talked to General Manager and he told me they’ll get it fixed. Brought it in and they replaced the gearbox. I drove the truck over the weekend steering felt improved, but something felt o me they’ll get it fixed. Brought it in and they replaced the gearbox. I drove the truck over the weekend steering felt improved, but something felt off. I lifted the front end up and the wheel baring is completely worn out on the left side. This is a very dangerous issue and easy to spot issue, I won’t be giving them a 4th try at fixing and guessing what’s wrong with my truck. I’ll be taking the truck to a shop that I trust. I think the (certified pre owned 100+ point inspection) advertised is just a sell gimmick. Very disappointed in the dealership. I purchased a certified pre-owned from them weeks ago and has been sitting in their shop since. The truck was $60,000 and they cannot fix the dangerously loose steering, pulling to the right, & the steering wheel is crooked . The service department called and said it was driving normally and gave me invalid excuses for the issue. This is not normal I’ve driven 3/4 ton trucks my whole life. I am a local realtor in Fredericksburg and drive all over the state. I am very surprised this dealer is just dropping the ball on me! I now have to pay a diesel shop to find and fix the issue the GM dealer cannot find or address. I would highly recommend to steer clear of this dealership. More
