Note: I was not allowed to post this review without rating the dealership and saying whether or not I recommend the dealership. So, in order to post the review, I answered "yes" which is solely the result of my interaction with Steve. I met Steve for the 1st time yesterday and he is phenomenal. Two weeks prior I had stopped in to look at a '17 Camry that was listed on Capital's website. Sales guy (not Steve) said it was still in service and he'd find out when it would be ready. Although I did receive some communication about "when do you want to come in to see what we have?", I never did receive the answer to my repeated question of "when can I drive the Camry?" so I gave up and looked elsewhere. Fast forward to yesterday. The Camry was still listed so I stopped in again, this time on the Pre-Owned side of the street. Steve greeted me with a smile on his face and a willingness to help. I explained what I was looking for and a little about my previous experience. After sincerely apologizing for my previous negative experience at the hands of someone else, Steve immediately started tracking down the Camry and didn't let up until he found it. Turns out it was loaned out to someone whose car was being serviced. Steve said he would have the car brought in so I could test drive it. I asked him to text once he had information. From my brief encounter with Steve, I could tell he was a man of principle who takes pride in his work and I knew without a doubt that he would locate the car and contact me. He did just that. He texted last night to let me know when it would be returned today, and then texted again today to let me know it had arrived. When I arrived to look at it, he had the car ready to go. And unlike a lot of salespeople, he knew everything there was to know about the car. I didn't make a purchase because I'm still not sure what I want, but I would highly recommend Steve to anyone shopping at Capital Toyota. More

Story of excellent, honest service We were in the market to replace our van, which had met an unfortunate end in a tree on an icy day. We assumed we would would buy used but were open to comparing incentives to new. Steve Clark met us as we pulled up, shook our hands, and told us he was glad we were all okay. He showed us around some of the 4WD vehicles (our only major requirement bc of the icy country roads where we live) and allowed our 3 yr old to "try" each of them out, too! We found one we thought we liked, but still had some reservations. Steve was not overbearing in letting us head up the street to compare to new vehicles. He handed us his phone number and took ours to hold on to the one we thought we might want. We met Brad Doty at the new vehicle lot. Even outside in the cold, looking through the new inventory, he was up front about numbers, giving us his best guess as to what amount we should finance based on what amount we wanted our payments to be each month. The new vehicles were above what we wanted to spend at that time, and he didn't try to sell us something above our financial comfort zone. He looked through his list of used vehicles and found something perfect for our needs and price range. We took it for a test drive on more than just city streets (important because we live in the backwoods), throughout which he was friendly--I think we talked more about life than whether the car drove well. We went back to his office for a credit check, etc. Brad offered our 3 yr old a balloon. There's a stylish waiting room with refreshments and space for our toddler to roam. Jerry Wright helped close our deal. His technology pad made signing super easy and fast! He got our new registration and insurance all taken care of while Brad synced my phone to the Bluetooth in my new car. When we finished, the car was warm and waiting for us out front so we could move on with our day. As we were leaving we realized the vehicle didn't have an electronic or spare key. Brad said he would hunt one down and get back to me. I honestly was nervous that I wouldn't hear anything....after all, the car was as-is and I didn't notice it was missing till the deal had been signed. He texted me 2 days later to let me know he hadn't forgotten about me and again 2 days later to tell me he'd found one! So happy with our choice of dealers. We will be in the market for a new truck soon and have no doubts about going back! More

Looking for a Tacoma Steve Clark was our sales person. He went above and beyond to get us the Tacoma we wanted. We have never had a sales person do this before.
