Outstanding. Everybody on the team, from Ms. Lane to Josh Mooney in finance. And we love the car. We are, however, still waiting to hear from the Concierge. BEWARE… unscrupulous, deceitful, money-grabbing Jaguar/Land Rover dealership (part of Morgan Auto Group). Avoid at all costs! I purchased a 2019 Ford Ranger several weeks ago from Jaguar/Land Rove Jaguar/Land Rover dealership (part of Morgan Auto Group). Avoid at all costs! I purchased a 2019 Ford Ranger several weeks ago from Jaguar/Land Rover of Sarasota, a division of the Morgan Auto Group, in Tampa, FL., and have had nothing but problems with this long-distance purchase since the delivery of the truck. I was lied to, tricked, and blamed for this truck not being delivered to me as promised by this dealership, and I encourage others to look anywhere other than the Morgan Auto Group (MAG) line of dealerships for their next vehicle purchase. If this dealership is an example of how MAG allows their businesses to be run, don’t even consider walking on any of their dealership lots! Even the GM of this dealership blew me off, not returning my call when we had a pre-arranged date and time to speak about my unfortunate purchase. Salesperson Taga Sickler failed to disclose obvious damages to this truck (i.e., leather seat ink stains, deep bedliner gouges, engine hesitation), nor did the dealership disclose these damages in their sales ads for the truck online. When I pushed to have an independent mechanic check out the truck before purchase, I was told by Mr. Sickler, ‘No way, you can’t do that here.’ Red Flag! Sales Manager Gene Stewart lied to me about the reconditioning work done to the truck to make it more presentable (i.e., new tires, oil/filter change, new wiper blades, multi-point service check). NOTE: At delivery, none of these items were replaced or put on the truck! The day before delivery, Mr. Toby Gray, who handles all the titling/registering of vehicles, called me and said that an additional $500 was required to be added to the agreed purchase price to pay for the services of the delivery crew to drive to Miami and back. When I stated that Mr. Sickler initially informed me that ALL Florida sales included ‘free’ delivery, he said Miami was too far, and if I didn’t pay, I could come to Sarasota and get it. Wow, that sounds like extortion to me. The next day at delivery to my home, not only was the truck not as represented by the dealership’s employees, Mr. Sickler and Mr. Stewart (specifically ruined leather seating, used tires, worn wiper blades, unchanged oil, and the truck undetailed with roaches and food inside), but I learned that Mr. Gray had NOT titled/registered the truck as per my wishes with my personalized tag or with a paper title ordered. To date, I cannot re-tag this truck with my personalized tag; Mr. Gray told me to buy the paper title at the tag agency myself. Wow, I PAID the dealership to handle all the tag and title work correctly. This was NOT the case. On a last note, I asked the delivery crew what they were earning to deliver the truck to Miami. The amount was laughable when compared to the $500 I was told needed to be paid for the delivery. I told them what I paid for the delivery, and they laughed, saying I was being taken for a ride! Of course, I reported all this immediately to Mr. Sickler, who then passed the ball along to Mr. Gray, who passed the ball to Mr. Stewart, who never called me back. I called these people every other day for two weeks until the dealership had Customer Relations Liaison, Mr. Jason Mirabito, call me, stating that any grievances toward, or any wrongdoing on the part of any dealership employee was simply a misunderstanding on ‘my’ part, and to ‘satisfy me’ about the truck titling issue, he would put $10 in the mail for my trouble! Which he NEVER did. He also said that I was ‘bothering’ everyone by calling the dealership and I should lay off. When I asked about last-minute $500 for delivery (or I could come to get the truck) he said, “It was simply a renegotiation of the price on the truck”. Right. Again, please do NOT consider working with any of the Morgan Auto Group (MAG) line of auto dealerships! The MAG employees I dealt with will lie, cheat, mislead, and take every advantage of you. After purchasing 5 cars from Wilde in Sarasota over. a decade I was shocked at the pricing I received from the new regime on a used car today. To use the term garage fees is an insult to garbage ! $2000 a decade I was shocked at the pricing I received from the new regime on a used car today. To use the term garage fees is an insult to garbage ! $2000 for window etch and other nonsense ? $1200 doc fee. $1350 for a recondition fee ? Really, so now the customers pay to recon a used car for front line sale ? Isn’t that what dealers are are in the actual business of doing, buy cars recondition them and sell them? I’m not a shy person but this was actually insulting to informed buyers. Have some self respect as a buyer and move on when you’re presented with this greed. More importantly teach your children or grandchildren that when a business shows a disregard for its customers they should not feel obligated to engage in their own financial exploitation. Purchased my sister a 2020 VW Tiguan from Taga Sikler, and as always Taga did a fantastic job with the purchase. Taga had the vehicle ready and stayed open late for me as it was a long round trip from Nap and as always Taga did a fantastic job with the purchase.
