They have lied to me over 40 times from the day I bought my car. I called them out on every lie, and prove they were. Dealing with this dealership has been the worse experience I ever had buying a car. I ha my car. I called them out on every lie, and prove they were. My experience here was fantastic. I had been to several dealerships that day but the salesman here understood my needs and respected my wishes when to give me time and look. Taylor Stewart the customer service director is a great guy and really helped me out a ton after the sale. I worked in a spray in liner into the deal and he called the day after I got the car and got every guy and really helped me out a ton after the sale. From the beginning, this has been a challenging experience. I called the dealership after finding a vehicle on Jeep's web site that was on their lot, made an appt to see the vehicle after they told experience. I called the dealership after finding a vehicle on Jeep's web site that was on their lot, made an appt to see the vehicle after they told me it was definitely there, and got excited since I had done my research and was an incentivized buyer. Upon arrival for my "appointment" I waited an hour before being seen, they shuffled me around to 3 different sales reps, then they took my keys to evaluate my trade in, and left me sitting at a desk for another hour while they supposedly looked for the car I called about. They never found the vehicle I called about, meanwhile leaving me stranded without access to my own vehicle and no one for me to ask about it. After being at the dealership for 3 hours I left frustrated. But the next day the 3rd sales person (who ended up sticking with me over the course of this sale) Angel called saying he found another vehicle for me, so I made another appt and came back in. Finally I made a deal/purchase with the sales person on the other vehicle he found, and waited for an hour for the finance person to see me. Couldn't wait any longer due to family obligations, so i paid my down payment and made an appointment for another day to sign my finance paperwork. Upon arriving for that appointment, I waited 1.5hrs, finance person never saw me and I had to leave to pick up my son from daycare. Side note... appointments mean nothing here, because I made about 4 appointments at this dealership over the course of this debacle, and each time waited 45mins-1.5hrs after the appt time to be seen (whether by sales or finance). When I was finally able to meet with the finance person to sign my paperwork, he lied saying he was new so that a manager could accompany him in the room to "help with paperwork." Really the manager (Steve) was there to assist with a hard sell on a warranty program. After wasting an hour declining this, we finally moved on, the manager left the room, and the finance person admitted he wasn't new they just say that in order to "get backup in the room" to convince people to buy these programs. Wow - so slimy! I purchased my vehicle before it arrived on the lot (trying to make the best of difficult inventory availability during supply chain interruptions). After signing all my paperwork and putting down a significant down payment, I was ready to wait about 7-10 days for my car to arrive. One MONTH later, I finally drove away with a vehicle... with a lot of bad service happening in between. After they missed the first few delivery deadlines ("it'll be here the 23rd, it'll be here the 27th, it will be here before the 31st!"), the customer service manager first claimed my car wasn’t in yet because the car was sitting at a rail yard with no truck available to deliver to the dealership (ok… I will believe that due to the current supply chain challenges). But then 3 weeks later I received a call from the sales manager claiming the dealership actually had an embargo where they weren’t allowed to receive any more vehicles at the end of the year (definitely not true since someone else told me they received a delivery of vehicles in that time). And then 4 week after I purchased my car and paid my down payment, they called me to say “your vehicle is here, come pick it up.” When I arrived at the dealership for a quick pick up of the new car and drop off of my trade in… the manager said there was a typo on the VIN and they had to find me a different vehicle and re-do the entire sale and finance paperwork. Hard brake. Red flag raised. I don't understand how you have a VIN typo, when I saw the window sticker from the manufacturer, not via paperwork created at the local dealership. A short while later, the sales manager admits they knew that they didn’t have my car and needed to do a vin swap a week prior and no one told me. A whole week had gone by when the sales manager, customer service manager, and my sales person all communicated with me about “we hope to have your vehicle soon” when in fact they knew I wasn’t getting that vehicle. As soon as I heard about the supposed VIN typo, I looked at my Jeep app to see the vehicle I originally purchased, which had already been tied to a Jeep account in my name. I could see the whereabouts of my original purchase, seeing that it had almost 500 miles on it, had half a tank of gas, and was parked at a home in Buford GA. So now I realize they sold me a car, but then gave it to someone else while I’m patiently waiting on it. Also - very sketchy for that other owner that I have access to the location and info on their vehicle (which was supposed to be my vehicle)… as well as to be able to remote start it, lock it and unlock it from my phone. And now no one at the dealership can figure out how to de-tach the original vehicle I purchased from my app, so I continue to have access to someone else’s personal info, while not being able to access my own. This dealership's bad business and lying is not only egregious but unsafe. I understand mistakes happen, but at every step along the way the staff of this dealership withheld info and lied to me when they could have just admitted mistakes. There are only two reasons this could happen - 1) because they are so unorganized and bad at their jobs they need a serious overhaul of their business practices because no one knows what is going on. Or 2) because they are unscrupulous and willing to lie and do anything to make a sale. I have been in sales of consumer goods for over 15 years, and would never treat a customer this way. The lack of customer service and disrespect for my time was the worst I’ve ever experienced from any consumer purchase I’ve ever made. While they had $14,000 of my money for over a month, they jerked me around with fake stories and didn’t deliver a vehicle for over 30 days. I left the dealership not feeling as if I could truly trust anyone. I feel the sales manager lied to my face because he didn't have the respect or strength to be honest with me. I plan on never having my vehicle serviced here and will tell anyone who will listen to avoid doing business here. What should have been an exciting experience - me purchasing an awesome new vehicle - was tainted and I am really disappointed. More
