Travis Green is a native Vermonter, born and raised in Rutland. Travis is a veteran of the automotive industry and has rejoined the H-Team (where he previously spent five years in sales and finance) after three years at Almartin Volvo in Shelburne. Travis spends his spare time doing outdoor activities: boating, fishing, hunting, and golfing. He is an avid football fan, following the New England Patriots. He is also a fan of music, especially anything country. If you see Travis around town, he's likely to be at the wheel of his day-to-day ride; a 2002 Toyota Tundra.

Daniel truly went out of his way to help me get the car I wanted in the timeframe I needed. He listened, and was patient with my decision-making process. Travis made the financing easy, and did a great job explaining extra options, one of which I realized I needed and went with, to de-risk and protect my investment. I left Travis' office with a lower monthly payment than I expected. The Heritage Toyota dealership itself is a well-lit, clean, pleasant place to spend time. So I drove into Heritage Toyota about a month ago (April) with my 04 tundra which was fast approaching 250k in miles. I knew a few things going in. One being that I was “on the clock” as to when the body o with my 04 tundra which was fast approaching 250k in miles. I knew a few things going in. One being that I was “on the clock” as to when the body on my 04 was going to give up, and two that I wanted to be back in a tundra. I first met Ryan Hardy and from the get go we had a mutual “no xx” feeling of each other. I knew and expressed to him that I was in the beginning stages of shopping and that I wasn’t driving off the lot without my wife driving the truck snd asking her questions. Ryan and I talked that first time for 3 hours or so. Putting tundra against other trucks, weighing a cash sale with a trade value or finance sale and the ins and out of what I need and want in a truck. That first day and conversation led to taking a few tundras for a spin. I ended up leaving that day with a ton of information and felt no pressure from ryan about not driving away in a new rig. That same day my 04 was appraised at 2k (2k more than I thought I’d get) and this led me to really consider trading it towards a new to Me tundra. Ryan and I talked through the lines of what I want in a pre owned. Less than 100k in mileage, between 2012-2020 and that i don’t need all the “bells and whistles”. We exchanged info, and away I drove feeling re assured that he was going to put the work in to keep The communication open amd help me find the rig. Cut to about a week ago when I called ryan saying the truck convo was more real with my wife and I was coming back to look at 2 specific trucks, based off a spread sheet my wife created to help her in the buying process. I showed up and felt like it was seeing a homie and not a sales dude. We talked about what had been going on that was leading to a more serious convo and got right to driving. I told Ryan that day that I was also going to be driving off the lot in my 04 and driving up and down Shelburne road to a few other options that made my wife’s spreadsheet of “candidates”. I was up front as to where and what I was going to drive and was given insight to who to take serious and who to stay clear from. This is what I really enjoyed about my talks and interactions with ryan as he understood the decision process on my end. I drove the 2015 red Toyota Tundra limited, and well... everything else I was going to drive that day was ruined from that point. I came back after a 30 minute drive amd look around off the parking lot and wanted ALL THE INFO to take back home to my wife to look over and discuss. Way less that 100k One previous owner Certified ore owned Clean all the way around And heritage had put about 5k into it for repairs that were all to not meeting the certified pre owned checkpoints. This translated to a truck that will last me 15 plus years, the backing of heritage toyota in extended warranty’s, and the fact that I won’t have to do any serious work to it for years To come. I told Ryan again that I would have to drive away from it but would be back on a day or two with my wife, so she could drive it and ask her questions. Ryan understood and was looking forward to meeting my wife. Saturday morning I awoke to a text from ryan after I had communicated to Him the night prior that my wife and I would be by to drive and such on Saturday. Ryan had suffered a loss in his family that morning and most likely not be able to be at heritage that day. I completely understood amd was reassured by ryan I’d be out into the great hands of Derek Blood and he was made abreast of the ins and out of any sale with me. We drove up from Hyde Park and got to heritage, walked in asked for Derek. Derek was In the middle of another sale, but Neil would be more than happy to help. Neil? Who is Neil. Neil pinch hit, and crushed it!!!! We walked in got to know each other a bit and he set us up to drive the 2015 we were there to see. He was aware that up until that point Ryan was who I was working with and that he would give the same service amd care as if he and I had been in communication for that whole time. After a long test drive, 2 hrs of questions and options, more questions, even more comparison to the idea of a new truck, more questions. My wife and I walked a away for a few moments, sat in my 04 and came to the agreement that we couldn’t let this 2015 drive away with anyone else behind the wheel. We walked back in with my 04 title In hand and made it happen. We woke up that day thinking we were driving and asking questions. Ryan and Neil together put us in the red big beast of a tundra that day. I have never had the experience that I have had with heritage. And we were so pleased by this purchase that when the time comes for my wife to replace her CRV, we will be back, again amd again and again. Thank you for making this fun, enjoyable, light hearted and truthful. Thank you to Ryan for digging and pouring the foundation, laying the ground work amd taking the time to get to know me and my family to amd extent. Thank you to Neil for putting to roof on building blocks Ryan started and taking the time to answer all the questions and all the running back amd forth to the sales manager as our sale was interesting to a degree. Most of all. Thank you to the both of you for always from the get fo understanding that “today might not be the day”, but also being very good at what you both do to get us to pull the trigger.
