I ordered a 2010 Toyota Prius from Toyota of Olympia. It was my intent to take advantage of the temporary exemption from the Washington State sales tax which expires July 30, 2009. A price was agreed on an was my intent to take advantage of the temporary exemption from the Washington State sales tax which expires July 30, 2009. A price was agreed on and a $500.00 deposit made. The allowance for my used Toyota Corolla was discussed and the car was inspected and driven by dealer personnel. The used car allowance was discussed by the salesman with another employee whom I took to be the used car manager. I was then led to believe that the trade-in allowance would be $8000.00. After a wait of several weeks the new Prius arrived and my wife and I arrived with checkbook in hand to exchange the trade-in for the Prius and pay in full. The Prius was bright and shiny and the keys were dangled in front of us. At this point in time (after further back room discussion with a third party) it was suggested that we sell the Prius ourselves. And finally we were informed that the used car manager would only allow $6200 for the trade-in and we would need to pay an additional $1800. I consider this action contemptible and unethical and would discourage anyone from dealing with Toyota of Olympia. More
If you take your vehicle in for repair to this dealer, make sure to review your car carefully before taking it home. I took my car in to have the carpeting changed and have the interior detailed. It took make sure to review your car carefully before taking it home. I took my car in to have the carpeting changed and have the interior detailed. It took several trips to the dealer to have this work completed. When I finally took the car home, they had not installed the foot rest correctly. It came loose a week after I picked the car up. When I took the car back, the dealer kept my foot rest and promised to order the necessary parts to install my foot rest. They never did call me, they lost my foot rest, and they refused to rectify the situation, saying it was due to normal wear and tear that the foot rest had come loose. More
Toyota of Olympia has been very good to me. I once purchased a used car from them, but soon I wanted my old car back. They were very kind and returned my old car to me. I continued to go back throug purchased a used car from them, but soon I wanted my old car back. They were very kind and returned my old car to me. I continued to go back throughout the next year and drove many cars. They were always helpful, and never pushed for a sale. After I found my Highlander, I traded my car in and received an excellent deal as well as great service. Our salesperson, Chris, is an amazing, honest, and helpful person. I have found they also have an excellent reputation around town. They are number one with me! More

I service. I received a referral to toyota of olympia. 2 weeks went by and I never heard from them, they were supposed to contact me within 24 hours. I sent a second request to costco and the customer advocacy person told me that Randy had been trying to call the number I provided but had trouble with it and was there another number or email that he could contact me at. Well everyone else has no trouble calling me at the number I provided and I have voicemail, so I know that he never attempted to call me. I provided an email to which he could contact me. I never received anything. The customer advocate called me (they did not have any trouble using that number!!!!) I filed a complaint with them, letting them know that Toyota of Olympia is making costco look really bad and that they should consider not doing business with them. Anyway it was their loss, I went toyota of puyallup and bought 2 cars!! More
