I purchased a truck from North County Ford with 17k miles in late October. However, almost as soon as I took possession of the car, I noticed that there were loud squeaking noises coming from the braking system, which I did not notice on the test drive since we were not primarily in a parking lot, where the noise is most apparent. I then spent THREE solid weeks attempting to get ahold of someone, anyone who could talk to me about what kind of inspection had been done on the vehicle prior to being sold. I left a total of between 8-10 phone messages for the Sales Manager, Used Car Sales Manager, even the dealership General Manager who coincidentally were always too busy to take my call or return my messages. If I could’ve gone to the dealership, I would’ve, but I live out of state. Finally, I get ahold of a sale managers named Brad Triplett who confirmed that there was no record of the brakes having been inspected. He told me to take the car to my local Ford dealership to have them inspect and fix the brakes, so I did. Unfortunately the local dealership did not fix the entire problem at a first go. They replaced the back brakes, which were indeed low, and North County picked up the tab. However, the squeaking noise remained, and the local dealership had to replace the front brakes on a subsequent day. It was at this point, that the cowards at North County Ford, in particular sales manager BRAD TRIPLLET and service manager ALEX PEREZ decided that the fault here was with my local dealership and hence will not be paying to fix the brakes. Alex Perez in particular is an abject coward who refused to speak to me directly. Bottom line here, North County Ford sold me a practically new car, which somehow needed significant brake work the second I left the dealership. They told me they inspected the car to get me to buy it. Then they ghosted me for 3 weeks, and now is refusing to actually to help finish the repair. These people are sleazy cowards and I will never buy a car from them again, and you should not either.
Got a quote for a brake job on my Expedition from a shop in Encinitas because who's dumb enough to pay dealership prices? Shop quoted me $750 for front and rear brakes. I remembered I had a recall for my rear camera so I called No. Co. Ford and had them quote me too so I could maybe get the brakes and recall done at the same time despite knowing the dealership would charge me more for the brakes. No. Co. Ford came in $100 cheaper on the quote! When I went to pay, my service advisor Jim Goodine and technician Victor, told me I had 72% left on my front pads. So not only did the shop in Encinitas quote me $100 more for the job, they lied and told me I needed new front brakes. I'll never go anywhere else. Thank you No. Co. Ford.
Safety Recall on 2023 Ford Transit Camera - Nick Rodriguez was Outstanding - Fast, Professional and provided a Lyft Ride Home during Service - Great Job !
I have been coming here for service on my 2018 F350 for the last 4 years. The last 2 visits have been horrible. This current one I dropped the truck off last week for a steering stabilizer replacement. They had to order the part but were going to have it the next morning. Then all you get is the run around. Kept the truck all week and through the weekend. 25 calls today alone. Finally got someone to answer the phone and miraculously the truck is ready. They claimed the service tech called in sick Friday and no one else could install it? Clown show for sure!
Salesperson and finance managers lie and fraud people. Withholding your credit approval, to sell you warranty. It's also known by upper management. They give Vista a bad name.
Had a 9am appointment showed up early just for an oil change, 4hours later I was still waiting this the second time I had dealt with this service department and this will be my last time as well, until something changes with this department or department manager I've had enough!
