Initially it was great. Brittney said all the right things. I ordered the truck from NC to Nashville TN. Then i got the truck. It was filthy and had the bumper zip tied on, broken pieces and horrible attempt at hiding them. I denied the truck. Gm said he’s so sorry and he was putting something in the mail that day to make up for it.then they sold me again on a way more expensive truck, a 2023 tundra crewmax 4x4 and said were helping you out with the cost. And taking 6k off with 80k miles i was still out the door at 44k-46k. So we do a FaceTime walk around 2 times. There was a hole in the tailgate that the guys Armondo said was tape, so i looked past it because you cant see it in the camera. I asked him to point out any dents or major damage. The bumper had a gash, it was ok. I get the truck. Wow. Detail job was subpar, seats were very dirty, big dent in body under back window, a crack ion windshield that wasn’t there before on video, the tailgate doesn’t work with side button, the lane change doesn’t work, and the other sensor lights come on randomly and don’t work, the right headlight only has half of the light working- really- who doesn’t check this on inspection, the tire pressure sensors don’t work, major scratches on drivers door frame, the tape on the tailgate is two quarter size holes that was bonded up badly-not tape( how do you miss that?), on e key fob is dead, brakes are squeeling- when i had mechanic do brake job for $250 he found there was something jammed between the rotor and both pads on right side. So i swapped the pads out for ceramic racing pads, way better. All of the other things should run me approx. $1200-1500 and some will hopefully be covered under the warranty. If not ill have to get my atty involved. I sent pictures to “Armondo- my liaison” and he said the GM will be calling me, i even asked him if they will repair the window, the headlight, the hole in the tailgate and the liftgate working properly I would be happy, crickets. Still haven’t gotten that call. I guess i expected more from Toyota. I didn’t go to Miami car lots to avoid a situation like this. But i guess that is how this GM runs his dealership. It is very sad when a consumer spends about $45,000.00 on a vehicle and gets this. This really should wake everyone up to understand to slow down and go see the car or truck in person and don’t be in a hurry. Go spend some time with the potential vehicle that your going to spend the next 12 years with. Not everyone is honest and go over and above. This should be a lesson to all patrons buying a used or new car from Toyota. Buyer beware.
Easy to get an appointment and friendly staff Also they had very quick service. Great
Very dishonest people. I am not sure how they have a 4.4. The marked a car down to $29k when they said it should have been $39k and then when we went to finance, they tried to keep telling us we needed to put more and more down because of negative equity, but it coincidently totaled what they should have listed the car for. Didn’t know they had a math genius in the room with them to catch them on their numbers that lied. I will NEVER recommend or shop with this dealer ever again.
The sales guy, the manager and the guy that does the paperwork work were all super nice and very helpful
False advertising! Listed a vehicle for $29,998 with 5148 miles. Arrived and was greeted politely then able to test drive the vehicle. When test driving I noticed the mileage was actually 7200. Retuned back and started to negotiate, even with the additional 2k miles. Had a trade in they didn’t want to value till they knew what my initial offer was. I wrote down my first offer. The salesman scurried off like the peanut he is to the finance manager for approval. As the peanut returned his number had an additional 2500 over asking… Puzzled I asked where that came from? He then said it was an added millennial package and the management were already in the hole on this vehicle and wouldn’t negotiate. So this dealer advertised this car for 30k + 1k admin + 1300tax/tags= 32,300 - 2k trade in should have came in at 30k but their number was 32,500 because of this unadvertised falsified addition. Sleazy is actually what this was…they found out we were paying cash and couldn’t capitalize on interest payments so at the last moment they jacked the price to try and recoup. Otherwise why wouldn’t you advertise the true price of a used vehicle with all the extras? Bad business! We walked! And before anyone purchases here I hope this review enlightens everyone on the underhanded tactics this dealership goes by
I would leave 0 stars if I could I do not recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealer. I placed a deposit on a vehicle on the 20th of December. From the start it was like pulling teeth just to get an answer on what was going on. I gave them all the information they asked for or so I’d thought. Today over a week later I finally got a hold of someone and they said “the information you gave us isn’t sufficient and we will not be going through with this deal.” That would have been nice to know a week ago. But since no one knows how to answer a phone over there and since they have a deposit from me to hold that vehicle all I could do is keep calling. I passed up another car I could have bought waiting for them to get back to me. Tread lightly with this dealer, they love to waste your time.
