My 2004 Aveo, purchased and serviced at Pape, ceased to function on the Maine Turnpike on a Sunday morning. AAA brought me home and dropped off the car at Pape. The car was not worth repairing. Knowing that was likely to happen, I had test-driven a Spark in the past. The salesman who had been cultivating me was on vacation that week, so another salesman stepped in and got me the Spark I wanted. He also arranged for me to drive a loaner until the Spark was available, and my money had been transferred to my bank. The whole situation could have been very distressing, but Pape made it a friendly and convenient process.
These guy's are awesome!! I have had my truck serviced here since I bought it a couple years ago, should also say the truck was bought here! I also live 2 hours from here, south of Boston. This place is well worth the trip from any where be it sales or service!! For a little over a year Kris and Andrew have been helping chase an on going stubborn ac issue that only happens once in a while. Well on a Friday am truck loaded for the weekend including wife and 3 dogs the ac stopped working. We drove straight to Pape. With no appointment Andrew met me when I walked in, he spoke with Kris and before I knew it the truck was in the shop being looked at. A short time later the tech figured out the problem and the sensor was ordered. I returned 2 weeks later to have the part installed and the ac has been working perfect!! Thanks to the service team here for being persistent and chasing this problem with me for so long!
I just purchased a 2016 Tahoe and had a wonderful experience. My salesman, Larry Whitely was kind, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond finding the exact vehicle I was looking for. He was patient and never pushy and made my over all experience a great one! The many staff members I came in contact with were always friendly and greeted me with a smile. I would certainly buy another vehicle from this company!
Body work was done on my vehicle. The back bumper replaced with new parts but not aligned properly. Body shop foreman was embarrassed but in the end claimed was commercially acceptable. Finesse is not part of their work plan.
We purchased a truck last weekend and everything was great. Frank was the salesman and he was wonderful and everyone we talked with or dealt with was professional, friendly and not at all pushy.
I've been trusting my car care to Pape since we moved to Portland in 1991. They have always been courteous and efficient, and I really like the fact that I have been working with the same folks for many years. Low employee turnover speaks highly of the company and reinforces my belief that I have made a good choice in dealerships. Scot Curit (Sales) and Kris Brady (Service) both deserve special recognition for their part in making me a very happy customer.
