What Others Say

BUYER BEWARE They will bait and switch you. Two people called including the manager and told us they would match a price from another dealership that was farther out to save us the trip. We told them that they needed to check and make sure they had the model we wanted before we came in. They confirmed. Got there and the only vehicle they had was a higher trim package. They continued with the charade of moving forward with the deal. Went as far as having us inspect the vehicle and sign initial paperwork before demanding another $3700 for the vehicle. Wasted hours of our time and pulled us away from another dealer to try and pressure us for more money. They’re scammers!! Don’t trust them!

If you are in the market for a new Kia, avoid this dealership. The sales team will not work with you, especially Kris W. The people who answer the phone are nice; I know that is because they want to get you in. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! They have a very, very limited amount of automobiles in stock as well. Kris W called and texted me several times even early in the morning. When I bought another car from another dealership, he had the nerve to call me to let me know NOT to even look at the Tameron Kia WB website. He is definitely an xxx. This has been my second encounter with him. Both times he simply refused to budge on the MSRP. When I called the dealership, I specifically asked for another salesperson. Instead, I was stuck with Kris W. Save a lot of time by going to another dealership.

The service department are liars and are incompetent! The district offices are liars and are the same as well!!! Tamaron Kia Westbank is a sleazy operation! Never do business with them!!!!

AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP! Their customer service is horrible. I had a service appointment for my car on a Friday morning not long after opening. After 1 week of not hearing from them, we left a message and received a call back with the problem. They said they would call that day (Friday) to see if it was covered under the extended warranty. Monday, I got a phone call from the tech asking for the extended warranty info so they could call, which they had in their system with our policy number the entire time! So they did not call on Friday like I was told. He apologized and said he would call immediately. I got another phone call a few hours later saying it was covered by the extended warranty and the part would take 2 days to come in. We gave until Friday (2 weeks of them having the car) and called that morning. We left a message then, and later that afternoon. I called again multiple times Monday and again got voicemail. I also did the Live Chat and they sent my message to the service department and still did not receive a call back. I FINALLY got in touch with someone Tuesday afternoon when I called again and was told the part came in that morning. He said the earliest it would be fixed is the end of the week (3 weeks after dropping it off) and that no loaner cars are available. The only excuse given was that they only have 2 technicians and said they even still have a car from April they are working on. They should not stop them from taking a few minutes to call and update the customer. I could have picked up my vehicle and brought it back to have it fixed when they were less backed up since it is still in working condition. They do not care about the customers and will take as many cars as possible even though they can not handle that workload in a timely manner.

Previous issues from Ray Brandt were resolved Service and recalls taken care of in a timely manner. Easy to work with!

My wife brought our 2013 Kia Rio in for 2 recall updates on 6/19/2024. The car had NO mechanical issues whatsoever. It ran perfectly. This is a car with about 88K miles on it. It still has a LOT of life in it and was garage kept. They tried to run the update for the security issues Kia is dealing with, and it FRIED the Body Control Module. The “brainiacs” at Kia manufacturing had decided to quit making the part which would fix the car. So, our car has been sitting at Tameron Kia Westbank in Harvey since the day it was brought in OVER 4 months ago. BEWARE if you’re considering buying a Kia vehicle. They could possibly PREMATURELY quit making important parts to repair a vehicle as in our case. The driver’s side window is down because the BCM controlled that. Also, the blinkers, lights, hazard lights, among other things don’t work. VERY FRUSTRATING, to say the least…😡 As of 11/5/2024, the vehicle is STILL sitting at the dealership! They sent the Body Control Module to be “repaired.” It’s been in their possession (Tameron Kia Westbank) since the end of last week. Supposedly, an “appointment” was made to install the BCM in the car yesterday. The whole day goes by with NO update. My wife texts the GM of the dealership this morning for an update. No update. We go in to the dealership after not hearing anything. The GM tells us he didn’t want to call us yet because there’s more bad news. (As if we wouldn’t have found out as MORE time had passed) They installed the “repaired” BCM. Now, the car won’t even start when it at least ran before. Now, they’ll just do as Steve Miller says in one of his songs…TIME KEEPS ON SLIPPING, SLIPPING, SLIPPING, INTO THE FUTURE because they’ll just “drag their feet” like we haven’t been inconvenienced enough for well over four months.😡😡😡
