Our 2008 Toyota Tundra needed the 180,000 mile service done along with some other issues we were having.Pierce Auto Center’s service department performed excellent service on it.They also have a very friendly and helpful staff.We will definitely go back for future service needs and we highly recommend Pierce Auto Center to everyone else.
BEWARE of the service dept integrity and ability to diagnose engine troubles - had my 2012 Ram breakdown close to Pierce Auto. The service dept folks called me and stated they found metal shavings in the oil w a knock down low in the engine and I needed a new engine w an estimate at $12K. I declined and had it towed to my auto mechanic 100 miles away and they found a broken valve spring- repaired it in a day for $400 and it continues to run great- They also noted there is no indication anyone even looked at it- and no metal shavings were found in any oil or filters- If u don't want to service the truck or have the staff to do the job, just say so. Don't fabricate a diagnosis to get me to buy a new truck.
Unprofessional Service Dept. - Today I had my RAM 3500 diesel serviced and will not return. Our family only drives Jeep & RAM vehicles so Pierce Auto has taken care of us in the past. Chris the sales manager and his staff were extremely unprofessional when I requested they honor a coupon issued by Chrysler on the Pierce Auto website. They treated me like I was somehow out of line. Chris told me it would never happen again and had staff member call me later claiming that I was complaining. The staff member also lied about how much oil they had used during the oil change. My receipt clearly states 12 quarts (covered by coupon) and the staff wanted to charge me for 15 quarts. I simply requested they honor a coupon (see photo attached). The sales manager also said he was going to call Chrysler and have them remove coupons from their website. In days where auto dealers are struggling, I'm surprised an owner like Randy Pierce would allow employees to be so unprofessional. DO NOT GO TO PIERCE FOR SERVICE!!
A big shout out to Jon Stolz and the wonderful crew at Pierce Auto Center in Sagle, Idaho!! My car was in bad shape and the miracle workers in the service department gave me back a car that runs like its brand new! Thanks to all the hard working men and women at Pierce Auto. You've saved my Christmas!! ♥️🎄
Dana Streeper (Sales Consultant) and the Nick (General Manager) were excellent to work with, they provided a fair price for my trade-in and were willing to have good faith negotiation on the used vehicle I ended up purchasing. They also took care of a couple of items on the vehicle. I appreciate the low / no pressure to sell me extended warranties, etc…on the vehicle too. Overall a very good experience!
After my 2017 Ram 1500 mysteriously shut down, I had it towed to Pierce Auto Center. That same day they called to say they'd found & fixed the problem, which was a cable disconnect that happened in an out-of-the-way part of the truck. I have great respect for the know-how of their service folks. It's very comforting to know we have such quality service available up here.
