My 20 year old son purchased a vehicle from this dealership. While the salesman was nice, polite and was able to help my son get financing for his first vehicle, I was very disturbed to discover one of the problems with the truck. I realize when you buy a used vehicle, one that is 13 years old and has about 100k miles, some repairs are to be expected. What I don't expect is to find out that one of the problems could have been catastrophic for my son. The rear differential was almost completely empty of fluid (about 1/4 quart and water). Thank God my ex-husband is a master tech mechanic and was able to go over it before he left for a 4 hour drive back to college. Had the rear end locked up when he was driving 70+ mph on the highway, he could have been killed. I feel this was a major failure on the part of the dealership and the mechanics they have looking over the vehicle. When I called to tell them, I was told their mechanic had been driving it with no issues and then was asked if this happened after we bought it. I guess they don't realize that it could have locked up at any point in time. I am thankful I had a competent resource to look over this vehicle. I can't stand to think about what could have happened had my ex-husband not checked that.
