I had an excellent experience purchasing my 2020 Subaru Legacy from Hawk Subaru. The entire trade-in and purchase process was incredibly fast and organized — I was honestly shocked at how efficiently everything moved. I was in and out in under an hour once the deal was finalized. (I checked the time upon completion!) I also appreciated that they worked with me on my trade-in value. They didn’t fully match CarMax, but they came much closer than most dealerships I spoke with in the area, which made the deal feel fair and reasonable. What really stood out to me was how flexible and communicative the team was throughout the process. I had a somewhat complicated situation involving a Power of Attorney and financing logistics, and instead of making things difficult, they worked with me patiently to help get everything completed correctly. They even held the vehicle for me while my financing check was being mailed, which I greatly appreciated. Mark, the general manager, personally helped me several times throughout the process. At many dealerships you never even speak to the GM, but Mark took the time to help explain things, work through the POA situation, and make me feel comfortable moving forward with the purchase. Elizabeth was also fantastic to work with. She stayed very organized, communicated quickly, and helped make the entire process smooth and stress free. On top of all that, the pricing on the vehicle itself was excellent — honestly one of the best deals I found anywhere in the region for the mileage and condition. I did end up having a couple small issues shortly after purchase, and Hawk immediately asked me to bring the vehicle back in. They resolved the issues for me quickly and at no cost, which really reinforced that they stand behind the vehicles they sell. This was easily the most stress-free car buying experience I’ve had. I went in expecting the typical used car dealership battle, but instead I felt like I was treated like a valued long-term customer from the beginning. Highly recommended.
