Checked 6 dealers in KC Metro area , looking for a “ first car “ for a young family member . Wanted car in the $10,000 to $15,000 price range with preferably lower mileage , good safety rating and not older than 2015 model .
Steve Burkhart showed us several cars on their lot , all of which appeared to be well maintained and serviced . Steve provided extensive owner and service history on each car , including current market price ranges .
Comparing AllStar Auto’s inventories , prices and car history info with other “Big Name “ dealers , I give All Star the top spot for cars in our set price range . Having narrowed our search to Toyota Camary or Mazda 6 , I received a late evening text from Steve indicating that they had just received a one owner 2016 Mazda 6 with relatively low mileage- - we test drove the car the following morning and were impressed with its loaded options , excellent condition , 30K mileage , good service records and some remaining manufacturers warranty . Although the price was slightly above our original limit , Steve and the management worked with us to complete a great deal with no closing hassles .
Based on our positive experience at All Star , another family member is also considering their cars .

I was in the market to buy a newer used car, and I stopped by All Star Auto to check out a couple of cars I had found online. Johnny was my initial contact, and I could tell from my first visit that he would give it to me straight, no BS, and he wasn't pushy in the slightest. Very knowledgeable about the cars on the lot, and I ended up going to look on three different occasions, eventually settling on one that I liked. The buying process was very quick and painless, I believe I was in and out of the office in half an hour total (from the price agreement to the document signing). And their dealership administration fee is substantially lower than some of the other dealerships I checked out. Also, they offered to fix my loose driver's side handle for free a week after I had already purchased the car. Overall, their customer service is great (Johnny especially) and I had a great buying experience. I will definitely go back in the future when I'm in the market again.
I never thought i would put as much faith into a car salesman as I did with Sammi. I am from out of state and saw a posting with the exact car I was looking for. After talking with Sammi I bought a one way plane ticket and left the next day. I was hoping that this car was in as good of shape as it was described to me (I obviously needed a way home). Since this all happened so fast and all the timing worked out for me, the only day I could be there was a Sunday when the store was closed. Sammi was gracious enough to open the shop and let me come see the car on his day off. The car turned out to be exactly what I wanted, as described, and I made it home 12 hours later. With this specific transaction there circumstances that made the title unavailable with the sale. The car was just purchased from an auction and listed shortly after, so before I could get the title, All-Star had to get the title from the auction house. Sammi assured me that by having the bill of sale from All-Star to me that there would be no problem getting the title from them. With all the scams that are going on in today's society, I knew I was taking a risk. Sammi did his due diligence and kept me informed of any communications with getting the title from the auction house. Two weeks later I was over-nighted the Title for my car.
Thank you Sammi and All-Star for being honest and going above and beyond for all of your customers. I would definitely buy a car from them again.
The sales rep wasn't negotiable and made the business process difficult and unsatisfactory. The buying process and paperwork went well for a first time purchase. Decent experience, could have been a little better but I am pleased.
We had such a great experience! We arrived knowing what we wanted to look at and were quickly shown the vehicle without any games. We were treated with respect, given good information, no pressure to spend beyond budget – or look at something that wasn’t what we wanted. Best of all we were given room to make a clear and careful decision. We were so confident in our purchase that we left the next morning on a road trip. We love the new to us 2007 Toyota Sienna minivan that fit in our debt free budget! We would highly recommend these folks - in fact, we are referring friends and planning our next purchase here.
