What Others Say

whatsoever. I recently brought in the used vehicle that I purchased with Garcia Volkswagen of Santa Fe for a routine oil change and car inspection. They did the oil change and said all else was good with the vehicle. The very next day, my check engine light came on and I immediately brought it to the closest dealership. They said the oil filter had not been installed properly by the previous technician at Garcia Volkswagen of Santa Fe and that the engine was completely damaged and needs to be replaced. Garcia Volkswagen has done nothing to help fix their mistake. I wanted to support a local business and they have completely taken advantage of me.

This place is more worried about their commission than customer service. Was sold a Tiguan SE and promised over and over (6+times verbally and in a text) that the main feature was standard on the car. When I got the car, feature was not in the car and was told it was a delete. Told them I wanted to return the car, they said they’d find one for me. After a week of them telling me they had a car to trade out, we found out they didn’t. Wouldn’t respond to me when I asked my options. Horrible service. In talking with another VW dealership they said they should’ve immediately return the car for not disclosing the delete. Save yourself the hassle and go to a place where they value customers.

This is the worst dealership I’ve ever purchased from. They spent over a month trying to get paperwork corrected and had used a incorrect name and then had the wrong lender on the paperwork. They spent a month sending paperwork back and forth and now I’m still waiting them to payoff our trade. They are super unprofessional and totally incompetent. If I had done this review on the day we purchased the vehicle I would have given them five stars but somehow they were able to totally change my opinion by the disaster they have created. Save yourself a lot of trouble and frustration and buy from a professional dealership that actually knows their business and values customers.

We purchased our vehicle at Garcia VW of Santa Fe and have had many problems, we tried to contact them and no one calls back.

Your dealership has the most rude service manager (Anthony) and sales manager (Tony Lujan) I have ever come in contact with. I took my VW Tiguan which I purchased here in Santa Fe for warranty service on the timing chain. I left my car there and called Anthony a week later to get an up date. Anthony then in a very frustrated voice told me that he had told me that they were very busy and he would call me when they had done the diagnosis. He never said that to me and that is why I called to inquire about my car. We got into an argument and he told me that he did not want to work on my car any more and for me to pick up my car or he would put it out in the street. I then went over to the dealership and spoke with Tony Lujan about Anthony. He told me he would get to the bottom of this situation and would call me back. He called me back a week later and told me to pick up my car because they were refusing to work on it. I asked to speak witki the general manager but never got to talk to him. I had my car towed to my regular mechanic and will never step into any of García Dealerships ever again. Again he worst service and communication I have ever encountered.

The service department at Garcia VW is inept. Garcia had my 2018 Tiguan for more than 4 months this year, partially to address a recurring electrical issue (they have had it for a total of 27 percent of the time I have owned the vehicle). Upon picking my car up, the issues immediately resurfaced. The general manager recommended I contact VW customer care and file a complaint about the quality of service I received from his dealership...Turns out Garcia did not do anything to address the issues because they could not reproduce them; at a minimum, they should have contacted corporate to get some guidance rather than send me packing with the issue unaddressed. University VW in ABQ fixed the problem in 4 days on the first visit...Garcia VW's service department is hands down the worst service department I have ever had to deal with.
