What Others Say

It was a pleasure working with Tyler figuring out what I wanted and didn’t need. He found me the right model and saved me thousands.

Very Clean Floors, Very Helpful employees John H and Katie in Service and Bob M and JR in Parts!!

Will never take my car here again. You would think a dealer working with Alfa Romeos will know how to service them properly, but they do not. When my vehicle was towed to them under warranty, they felt it necessary to drain all the coolant from my car and not replace it, since the vehicle was not starting, there was no indication to take all the coolant out. I only become aware of this when there was no heat in my car and drove my car without any coolant. Would not recommend.

My experience with this dealership was extremely disappointing to say the least. I dropped my car off for a simple software update and oil change and picked it up to find a a weird grease smeared all over my center counsel and two large, parallel scratches down the back moonroof. After bringing it to management’s attention, they did a pretty thorough investigation (which I appreciated) however in the end it was inconclusive one way or the other and therefore they were not willing to take accountability for the damage. Now I am stuck with the damage to my car while management claims they’ll be improving their intake process going forward- that doesn't do me much good as the damage is done. The facts are 1) the employees claimed that I dropped my car off with grease all over the center counsel, which I know is an outright lie 2) the dealership’s service bay cameras were too low resolution and unable to see the scratches even during followup viewings- why is that my fault and how can they claim the scratches were already there? 3) It's pretty suspicious that the intake person claims to have specifically noticed grease on the center console upon arrival but supposedly didn’t notice or take note of two large scratches on the moonroof of a very low-to-the-ground Julia 4) I keep my car immaculate inside and out and the idea that I dropped it off with the grease and scratches on it and that I'm trying to pull one over on them is really just insulting. I feel that management should have taken responsibility, especially considering that they themselves couldn’t even show that they didn’t in fact cause the damage. They just kept saying that they couldn't find any evidence as to how they could have done it, so maybe I bought the car that way 10 months ago and just noticed the scratches now?! All in all, I had a terrible experience with this dealership and now I have a car with a damaged sunroof- I would not recommend this dealer to anyone as I do not feel that employees are honest at all and they won't take accountability . In fact, this has completely ruined my experience with my Alfa Romeo in general and I doubt I will ever purchase one ever again.

Service 5 stars - Friendly and professional. Sales people - 3 stars. Everyone I spoke with was wonderful and very friendly. However I did hear one guy talking about the ways he manipulates people into buying cars and getting the most out of them after finding out what they make. I didnt catch his name but he kept talking about how he had been married over 30 years. I'm not surprised by this but probably don't speak that way when you have a customer there. They main reason for the 1 star review is the Lady at extension 660, I think her name might be Celeste. She was well aware I was there, the phone rang and she says "I'm not answering that!" And proceeds to talk about personal things with her coworker before dropping a couple F-bombs. Then what I gather is a newer sales person went into her office to get help and she was so rude to him I couldnt believe it and actually pulled him aside because I couldnt believe he kept his cool and I wanted him to know that I thought it was ridiculous. Then a short time later I hear "I came in for two xxxxing calls!, their giving all my leads to Brooke, they cut my leads by xxxxen 70%! This place is a xxxxing xxxx show!" I have never heard such profanity around customers in a sales environment in my entire life and I will NEVER buy my 4c or any other vehicle from a place that employs people like this that are so greedy, disrespectful, and unprofessional. It's a shame because everyone else there was wonderful. Just the sales guy who had been married 30 years talking about manipulating people into making one of the largest purchases in their life and this office person who swears like a sailor and has no regard for anyone else. After what I experienced today I wouldn't buy from them unless they correct these problems. I'd definitely recommend them for service though. I hope this helps some of you decide where to buy your vehicle from in the future.

I have purchased 2 cars from Schmelz and have had a great experience when buying each of them. Sales person did push us into something we really didn’t need, but did try to give us all the options out there to help make our decision. We will be purchasing a third car soon for our son and already have Ralph keeping an eye out for what we may want to buy. Great experience!!
