Service in June addressed one of many issues with my new purchase--completed the recall service. However, my request to update the infotainment system wasn't addressed, to provide me with the fob replacement code wasn't addressed, conduct a satisfactory detailing of my new purchase wasn't addressed. Furthermore, my repeated texts to Molly were never answered. In summary, I caution against using Johnson KIA for service.
I had a check engine light come on about 6 months ago. Brought it to local mechanic who said I needed to bring it to the dealership. Over 5 separate trips and $2500+ (on an optima worth $6k) My car is in worse condition. The last time I went there to pick up my car, I didn’t even make it out of the parking lot before the engine light came back on. I went for two months without an update, so I called multiple times trying to figure out what happened and it’s turned out they do not have a certified mechanic that can work on Hybrid/EV vehicles. Half the cars they sell are hybrid/EV. The shop manager is not able to give any kind of eta, complained about how they aren’t making money, so he understands where I’m coming from?!? We bought our most recent Telluride there and I implore you to goto any other KIA dealership. Johnson KIA is the worst service and sales that I could even fathom.
We had tried a few other dealerships along the same strip in Annapolis when I stopped by Johnson Kia, so I wasn’t really expecting to actually get anything that day. Lamont was a displayed remarkable patience with my unrealistic original expectations and pointed me towards the vehicle that I needed.
Johnson Kia has been the most professional and efficient in attitude and service regarding the maintenance of my vehicle.
The entire service team is personable, helpful, and really puts in the extra effort to make sure your car is well taken care of before they let you get back on the road. Sean and Stefano have always been fantastic and I trust them to get me what I need at a good rate.
Very pleasant transaction. No hassle. Sales person very helpful and knowledgeable. Was in and out within 3 hours. Will do business with them again in the future.
