What Others Say

Lizzie Rauda was extremely helpful throughout the process of selling my car. She made everything smooth and easy.

If I could give this company a negative review I would. This has been the absolute worst experience I have had with purchasing a vehicle. From the non responsiveness of the managing partner Dave Anderson, to Derek Hooser and the pre-owned sales manager Mark Lawrence. If you are looking to purchase a vehicle please go somewhere else. They add fees that are not advertised this fee changes every month they will tell you it’s the cost they put into making the car ready, in reality they did not do anything and they are adding junk fees to the consumer. Worst company ever!

Avoid this dealership. They advertised a used 2017 Ford C-Max Hybrid (VIN 1FADP5AUXHL107262) for $9,992 online. When we arrived, they presented an out-the-door price of $13,000, which included a hidden $1,887 "vehicle reconditioning fee" not disclosed in the online listing. This represents a $3,000 difference from the advertised price, a 30% increase. This practice, involving a significantly lower advertised price followed by substantial undisclosed mandatory fees, is consistent with bait and switch tactics that the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA) aims to prevent. When we asked for an itemized breakdown to understand their OTD price, the sales manager Mario Perez and salesperson Johnny Becerra immediately became aggressive. They stated they only provided breakdowns for those "buying now" and implied we were not serious buyers, despite our insistence that we had the cash readily available and were willing to finance if needed. When they finally relented and gave us an itemized breakdown, we noted the $1,887 "vehicle reconditioning fee." Johnny explained this was a mandatory fee applied to all vehicles to prepare them for sale (oil changes, tires, detailing). We questioned why this work wasn't built into the original price and why the fee was so high when the backup camera was still cloudy and there was a dent in the bumper (both visible in their online listing photos). Another customer's review for a like-new 2024 Corvette indicated the same $1,887 fee was added, showing the same $1,887 fee is applied regardless of the actual extent or quality of work performed. When pressed on these fees, Johnny Becerra stated that "all dealerships add it" and that if they didn't, "no one would come in," which we believe further demonstrates their non-transparent pricing strategy. When I used a calculator to verify their figures, Johnny attempted to gaslight us by stating we were "just punching in random numbers." Reliable Chevrolet's pricing is dishonest, and their business practices are disrespectful and unethical. Do NOT waste your time, energy, and hard-earned money with this dealership.

Tried to buy a 2024 corvette with 3400 miles. Was willing to discount $300 on a 82,000 asking price AND wanted to ADD AN ADDITIONAL $1887 For a reconditioning fee for basically a new car. What a joke of a dealership!!!

The finance at this Reliable Chevrolet was great.David Chapa explained everything so well. I don't usually buy extended warranties but he went over everything ot covers and it made sense. I am very happy with my purchase and the guys are so very help. Thank yall fir everything.

The finance is team is very misleading and railroad you and confuse you. After asking many questions he never gave a real explanation. Just short vague answers. You’ll get one price then go to the financing team and they’ll raise it.
