Showed up to a scheduled test drive to a car with a dead battery. Made a reservation 3 days ahead of time, confirmed reservation with their call center the day before, drove two hours to test drive the car and show up and it has a dead battery. They claim they have to send it to the dealer to have the battery replaced and it would take around two hours. Expected us to sit there and wait for the car to come back. Worst incompetence I’ve ever experienced with a car dealer. Highly highly recommend AVOIDING carmax and all their shenanigans
I purchased a car in Nov 2018. The navigation SIM card did not work, it has been back twice still does not work. The car broke down two days age and no one from service would answer the phone for two days. I finally drove to the dealership to schedule a tow/service call only to be told they were aware the calls were not getting thru. The only reason I give this dealership one star is the sales woman and service tech were polite and professional other than that the single worst consumer experience I have ever had.
