I came in looking at a specific car and took it for a test drive. Liked it but had a couple others scheduled, and I wasn’t going to purchase the first car I drove. I told the salesman this and he said no problem (all on a Friday). After those test drives I told him I wanted the car, he said sure and to come in when I could. I found a ride which took an extra day, and when I called to schedule a time to come in I was informed by another salesman that the vehicle was sold. No response from my salesman when I tried calling and texting; but he did call back some time later saying he wasn’t aware that it was sold.. how that’s possible I’m not sure, but he then confirmed it. I was upset that I didn’t receive the courtesy of a call or text saying that someone else was interested.. just sold it out from under me. A day later, surprise surprise, the guy coming from out of state who they had “sold” it to couldn’t get the money together. They finally called me once this had happened. I told them since this was such a hassle and I felt like I was treated very poorly, I offered to pay cash in full if they knocked $1000 off the OTD price. Got $500 off the list price so in the end I saved around $650 when you add in taxes. I was happy to finally get the car but it felt like despite a great credit score and a cash offer, they were trying to hide it from me for some reason. I’ve never seen someone so hesitant to accept cash for a used car. The purchase took 2.5 hours as well; not sure if that’s normal or what but it was certainly exhausting just sitting around.

The dealership was clean and inviting and the people were very friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked through the doors.
