What Others Say

I am submitting this complaint regarding a persistent and concerning issue with my brand-new 2025 Genesis GV70. Since shortly after purchasing the vehicle in April 2025, I’ve experienced a loud metal-to-metal noise when reversing down my driveway — an incline where the issue consistently presents itself. Timeline of Events: June 9, 2025 – I brought the car to the dealership service department, reporting the metal-on-metal braking sound. Despite the fact that the sound occurs every time I reverse down my driveway, I was told that the dealership could not replicate the issue and was told the noise was “normal.” July 8, 2025 – After escalating my concern to Genesis Customer Service, an arrangement was made for a service technician to pick up my vehicle for further investigation. I captured a video of the technician reversing the car from my driveway, clearly demonstrating the noise. July 10, 2025 – I was contacted again and told that no issues were found, and the braking noise was again dismissed as “normal.” However, I have since received a loaner Genesis GV70 (white in color), which does not exhibit the same noise when backing down the same driveway, proving that the issue is not characteristic of all GV70s.

I felt like I got treated like I was a bother. I went through two separate sales people because they were both rude. I almost left before the test drive. The car was nice though.

2023 GV80 - had a flat tire. Could not get anyone in service after 10+ tries. Took car in and had tire repaired. Technician neglected to pump up the tire after repair. Talked with GM Jon McFarland and got a bunch of excuses. Not a good first experience.

I have owned multiple upscale cars including BMW and Audi but have never run into the following: 1. A downright rundown shabby waiting room for service. Stained rugs, split leather seats from wear, old school coffee server, no complimentary water. Muffler shops have nicer accommodations. 2. Loaners seldom available without long notice. When I do get one, I get one much smaller than my g90 If they want to be a dealership selling cars for 80k and up, they should act like it

They wanted over blue book for a car with almost 200k on it. Refused to budge more than a hundred dollars from the price. Found the same exact car with less miles for half the price
