Received email for end of year sale. Called and spoke to salesman who also asked sales manager to verify email sale details and they wouldn’t do it unless i filled out a credit application and came in to dealership. I explained I don’t live that close and just want to verify sale before going there. they refused to verify email info. They last my purchase and if owner knew about this I don’t think he would be very happy. Very stupid on there part!
My son bought a 2024 Mazda 3 hatchback today. I went with him for moral support.
Juan was our salesman, Semaj was the manager. They tag teamed together to keep us busy. Both were very nice, but played the game like most car salesmen.
Jose was the finance manager who Semaj kept going back to so we could get "a better deal" While we were happy with the end result, knowing we had to keep on our toes or get screwed is stressful. How did we know they (Mazda dealership) was pulling a fast one? They tried to throw in a "covid fee" xxx!? Apparently since covid new cars are hard to get, so they try to charge a "covid fee"! There was a brand new Mazda 3 sitting right there!
We weren't stupid enough to get vaccinated or wear a mask, we sure aren't going to pay a fee! It was waived. I looked all through the paperwork to make sure it wasn't hidden somewhere else.
In the end, my son got the deal he wanted and walked away happy. we recommend this dealership and Juan, Semaj and Jose, just do your research and watch out for unnecessary fees.
Management assures the car buying experience is how it should be - less stress, more happiness. Thank you.
PROS - Sales staff was pleasant. Especially our Sales consultant, Calvin and Sales Mgr, Semaj. The other sales staff also treated us well. No pressure and good vibes. We accepted a deal we were satisfied with. 5 stars
CONS- The SERVICE DEPT. So this is where I took off 2 stars. I was asked to bring in the vehicle to resolve some issues on my used vehicle. So I made an appointment early 745am . Upon arrival, hardly a greeting. None from outside so I walk in and just feels so unwelcoming. One advisor greeted, but no eye contact just staring at his computer. So the one advisor that finally acknowledge me (Andy I believe) had really bad vibes as not wanting to be there that early or something. I asked him if they can take a look at another issue, and he was like, "does your Sales person know that? We are only working on this Due Bill" Like it's my fault this vehicle is blowing HOT air from the AC? What's with the attitude. Don't take it out on me. If Mazda wants to step up to the luxury brands like Lexus, BMW and Mercedes Benz, then this service dept really needs to improve their Customer Service. On top of that, I waited for 3hrs and the advisor did not keep me updated. Luckily my sales guy was there and had to get him to find out what's up. Ok why even make an appointment? Anyways, the sales staff were much more friendlier. I would buy a car there, but would be never take it for service at this dealership.
Additionally there is really bad communication between Sales and Service. But please don't take it out on your customer ( Mr.Service Advisor!) who paid good money for vehicle from your dealership.
Rating should be no stars and I'm sure everything you read in the other comments are true. Can't believe they have so many positive reviews, but maybe people don't realize they've been scammed. Started a text conversation with an internet sales director (aren't they all?) after expressing interest in one of their vehicles. After some back and forth about the car, it was revealed that I'd have to pay nearly $3,000 for pre-installed accessories. This will show up as the "Platinum Security Package" if you dig into their website. You cannot have it removed. In order to buy the car, you must pay this on top of whatever price you might negotiate. In short, you can't buy a car from them for even the full listed price since it is not the REAL price. This is deceptive at best and illegal per the Federal Trade Commission. You cannot require someone to pay for something they don't want!!!! I'm sure many people give in after spending hours at the dealership and roll it into their loans where they will actually have to pay interest on garbage they didn't want. So glad that I didn't waste my time to drive out there. This is why car dealerships and salesmen have a slimy reputation. I've reported to all the relevant regulatory agencies and encourage others to do the same. That is the only way to force change. Although it may serve as a warning to possible customers, complaining here doesn't really go anywhere. I would also recommend posting a negative review on Yelp, Google, whatever. Imagine all the people on tight budgets getting bamboozled by this dealer.
I bought a brand new Mazda CX-5 touring model from this dealership in January 2021. I have my veggie for 18 months and it has roughly 20,500 miles on it. It began making a struggling noise when I start it so I reached out to the dealer in June regarding the 36-month or 36,000 mileage warranty. The deanery ensured me my car was covered and to call to set up an appointment. Today 6/18/2022, I received a letter in the mail dated 5/4/2022 your warranty has expired and we encourage you to pay for additional coverage. As a female car owner I feel target by the dealership to be taken advantage of. The contract stated 36 months but they are trying to avoiding covering a broken veggie after just 18 months.
