What Others Say

A nightmare from the start. The new salesperson I got was extremely shady--he misled, deceived, and lied throughout the transaction (all while wearing a giant, garish, "Jesus on the Cross" watch!). Every question I asked required him to make a trip to his boss for clarification or permission to respond. I would advise everyone looking for a car to look elsewhere, as I should have done.

Undisclosed Hidden Fees were to be added at checkin. But asked for a cost estimate before service was even scheduled.

I just purchased my fifth Toyota vehicle this August. At Romano, Babar Mahar has been the salesman for the two most recent sales. He is definitely 5 stars, and I would highly recommend Babar as your salesman. Because of Babar’s good and consistent communication, I had a greater peace of mind while I waited for the Camry hybrid’s arrival. In person, Babar takes the time to answer all questions with knowledge and patience. When the car is in, Babar takes the time to make sure the driver understands the features and best functioning of the new vehicle. Because of Babar’s great service, I would continue to consider Romano Toyota for our family’s next vehicle.

Babar provided us with the best new car orientation ever. He was extremely friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. On delivery of our new car, he walked us through the mountains of paperwork, with explanations if needed for every form. We drove away with our new car feeling satisfied with the process. Well done Babar!

Romano was the only Toyota dealership that could get me a AWD Highlander Hybrid Limited in the northeast. I tried as far away as Massachusetts! They all said that I would not be able to get one for at least a year! Romano listed one as available. After dealing with the internet salesperson, I was handed off to Zack Tesfai who did an excellent job. The car was delivered much earlier than expected and Zack took the time to go through all the features and set up my wife's phone, etc. We are very pleased with the sales experience because that is not usually an enjoyable experience. They delivered early, had the car ready on time, took the time to educate us on it and gave us a full tank of gas. We couldn't ask for more. Thank you.

First time Toyota buyer. Where to begin? They screwed up the bill of sale about 4 times and I had to keep resigning it. They changed the optional dealership fee from $125 to $175, and then charged me an additional $77 on top of that when I came in to pick up my brand new car. I'm not sure why I was charged any fee as I did like 90% of the paperwork myself and it was only a transference of registration and plates from my old car I had already sold. The guy I was dealing with didn't even have the time to be there so someone else had to cash me out and show me the features of my car. Now I'm here trying to get my first service done on my car. I call up the service center and they schedule me. I call up the day before to ask when I have to show up, he tells me I have to leave it there the whole day, but also says they can't do what I scheduled to have done on the car and I have to reschedule it, so now I'm going to go over the miles for my warranty to be valid. I try to call the manager, he's too busy, the lady I was on the phone with hung up on me twice and I was not being rude to her. I had to call a different Romano store and the lady took my information and she said the manager would get back with me. Well guess what? He never did and now the store is closed. I'm being treated like I bought from a used car salesman at a discount lot dealership. Won't even honor the free 2 year total Toyota care maintenance that comes with my purchase.
