Desmond was very professional, informative, and helpful with my experience when I purchased my car a couple of weeks ago. Facility is overall very well organized and timely.
I paid 99$ to have the vehicle shipped to Athens. I test drove the vehicle and was happy with the results. The vehicle has some obvious body defects which I noted and will have repaired. The issue that is unsatisfactory to me is the fact that I wa sold. Vehicle with a bad tire. When I test drove the truck one tire had a pressure of 21psi. The dealer aired the tire and I drove it home, an hour + away. The next morning the tire pressure was back at 21psi. I aired the tire and took it to my Chevrolet dealer, where I had an appointment to change all the fluids and filters, and have the tired patched. I had communicated the tire issue to Mr. Andrew’s whom told me to ge the tire repaired and send him the invoice as I am over an hour away and did not wish to return to Athens to have a tire patched. My Chevrolet dealers service department identified the problem and could not repair the tire as it was outside the parameters for patching. I communicated this fact to Mr. Andrews who told me to replace the tire and send him the invoice so I could be reimbursed. I took the truck to my local tire dealer and had the tire replaced. I sent the invoice to Mr. Andrews and for over a week I cannot get him to answer an email or accept a phone call from me. I am out 300$ in addition to the 26,000 I paid for the vehicle as I drove a truck off the lot with a faulty tire - unbeknownst to me. For me it is not so much the 300 dollars but the lack of customer respect and customer service well within the warranty period that is aggravating. At this point I certainly do not have a very high opinion of Mr. Andrew’s nor the Camax dealership in Athens. I have 10 days left on my Dealer Warranty and will continue to try and get in touch with both Mr. Andrew’s and the dealership however, based on past experience these past 15 days I am doubtful of success. My vehicle financing experience was phenomenal. I interacted with an Amanda out of Chicago and she was most pleasant and helpful. I was on the phone for approximately 30-40 minutes and the process was completed. Mr. Andrews had no work to do whatsoever on his part, other than make copies after I signed them.
