Great place to buy a car. Getting it fixed is the worst. Excuse after excuse. Easy mirror replacement been 3 months and 3 visits and still nothing. They throw every other department under the bus for their incompetence. I bought a new car car there. Never again complete joke!
STAY AWAY - IT'S A CORRUPT DEALERSHIP! The dealership is refusing service because of my 1 Star Google Review, and Genesis of America refuses to step in to fulfill the contract agreement. I had an extremely disappointing experience at Balise Genesis of West Warwick, Rhode Island after purchasing my vehicle. Recently, I took my car in for service, and when I picked it up, I was shocked to find it covered in dirt and grime. After driving nearly halfway home, I became so upset that I turned around and returned to the dealership. I showed the assistant manager, who was visibly shocked by the condition of the vehicle. He admitted that the car should never have been returned to me in such a state. The assistant manager was so shocked that he took several pictures to show the General Manager and assured me that I would be contacted to resolve the issue. However, after several days of waiting, I never received a follow-up call. The service advisors were not only unhelpful but also rude and dismissive when I voiced my concerns. The service manager hid in his office and refused to come out to speak with me, while one of the service advisors actually argued with me in the parking lot. It was clear they had no intention of addressing the issue. After waiting in vain for any action, it became evident that the management had no interest in resolving my situation. As a result, my ceramic coating was damaged, and I estimate the repair costs will exceed $2,500. Given the lack of communication, the dismissive attitude of the staff, and the lasting damage to my vehicle, I can not recommend Balise Genesis of West Warwick. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and has left me with serious doubts about both their customer service and the Genesis brand. I strongly advise potential customers to consider other brands and dealerships.
Terrible experience with this dealership. Unfortunately it’s the only one in RI. They were very shifty and gave us the feeling that we were being had. We ended up buying a car from them but had a few questions after buying. They did not return our calls. The manager, Eric, told us he would remit an overpayment to us but it has not arrived and they won’t answer repeated calls to them. The finance person spent at least 40 minutes trying to talk us into upgraded service contracts after we repeatedly said we didn’t want it. We visited the Braintree location and they couldn’t have been nicer. Wish we had trekked up there to buy our car.
Absolutely horrible. They don't want to hear from you once you drive off with the car. Car shakes over 40mph, alignment out of Wack, cruise control does not work, remote start does not work.
Had a good, low-pressure experience with Pablo on a used car purchase. I observed on the test drive something that need service, he took my observation seriously, and the work performed, and it made such a significant difference in how the car drove that I decided to buy it.
