Another pleasant service experience at Boston Motorsports for my Alfa Giulia. Went in for a 4 wheel alignment. My car was taken on time and the service was performed promptly, as usual. I had an exceptional experience with Seth Wonkka at Boston Motorsports Alfa Romeo. When my recently imported 1973 Alfa Romeo 1600 Junior Zagato developed worrying engine noises, I tried cleaning the spark plugs, only to get more concerned when it subsequently failed to start. I cold-called BostonMotorsports Service. Seth personally answered my call, showed immediate interest in the rare model, and told me not to lose sleep—they would take care of it. I followed his suggestion to have the JZ trailered in and Seth quickly checked it, reassuring me by phone that the engine seemed fine after he got it going using the method he knew always worked to start mechanical ignition Alfas. Seth promised to store the car safely indoors overnight for his technician to work on the next day. He stayed in close communication, and after careful inspection and road test, confirmed there were no issues whatever - the car performed very well. My spark plug cleaning may have done the trick. When I picked up the car, he handed me the invoice—no charge. Knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely respectful of a classic Alfa. Five-star service all around.
