I had a good experience with my salesperson. The wait time for production of the vehicle was satisfactory. Helpful staff. It’s been 19 years since I bought a car. It’s much less personal than it used to be. I hope the maintenance service continues to be excellent. Lately it’s been taking longer to arrange a service date.in some instances.
I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a vehicle from Mercedes-Benz of Lafayette, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with professionalism and genuine hospitality. Salesman Matthew Stallard truly went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. Matthew was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and attentive throughout the entire process. He took the time to understand what I was looking for and helped me explore several great options without ever making me feel pressured. His honesty and transparency were refreshing, and I always felt like my best interests were his top priority. Once I made my decision, Matthew made sure the rest of the process was seamless and efficient. He kept me informed every step of the way, and the paperwork was handled quickly and professionally. The finance team was also excellent—flexible and easy to work with, which made the experience even better. This was by far the best car-buying experience I’ve ever had. Everyone I encountered was professional and friendly. My salesperson, Riley Potts was amazing and worked really hard to get me the vehicle and deal that worked for me.
We recently bought a 2024 Mercedes GLB and overall were happy with our purchase. The sales staff (Robbie) was great and management was pretty easy to deal with. The finance person was very nice and not pushy even though I realize his job is to try to sell service plans and extended warranties. My primary complaints with Five Star dealerships may be specific to me, but are worth mentioning. First, when you ask for the numbers, you get numbers that focus solely on the payments. The interest rate for financing is never mentioned. I understand that interest will be charged if the care is financed, but it should say what the rate will be. Second, the forced "Ceramic Protection" for $995 is just a money grab and negotiation tactic. Sure you can get them to lower the price but you'll still pay more than it is worth. Both of these relate to transparency, which I think is lacking and comes from the top in Georgia (not the local dealership). I have zero problem with a dealership making money, as they are not a charity. However, I want to see what I am paying for and how they came up with their numbers.
Worked with Robbie, he was able to get us a great deal on our new EV vehicle. Very pleased with the whole experience.
The guys were knowledgeable and friendly. Derek was an excellent sales manager. Test drive GMC, Cadillac products first . When they rolled the Mercedes Benz I was in love !
