This was by far the worst experience I have had buying a vehicle. They flat out lied about the vehicle. I do not recommend giving this place your business. They suck.
Buying experience seemed to be decent, although it took a few hours more than expected. But, a couple weeks after I bought my vehicle the wipers stopped working during the first storm I drove it in, then a couple days later the "service transmission" warning message came on. Thought they were working with me since they did email me back and returned calls but it was taking awhile so I ended up fixing the wipers by going to a salvage yard myself. Then when it became time to get the vehicle in for the transmission issues the salesman I was working with ghosted me. Stopped returning emails and no further communication. Now its been just over 2 months since I bought the vehicle and the service department tells me its the transmission's valve body that is bad but the warranty they sold me doesn't cover that and its going to be almost $3,000 plus there were other things that needed attention. So in the 2 months I owned it, the wiper linkage broke, the valve body is failing, and they told me it needs a tune up, fuel injector service and a cabin filter to get "started". To get started?? What else is wrong then? There is no way this vehicle was inspected or if it was they were shady and passed it along knowing it needed work. Maybe the Kalamazoo dealership is just riding on their larger lots reputations but as far as the Kalamazoo dealership goes I would recommend staying away. If you go to buy there they will make you feel like they want to help you, but if you end up having an issue then you will be on your own.
Worst car buying experience ever almost 8 hours at dealership. Won't go back ever.
