My mom took her car to Southern States Hyundai of Raleigh, NC for a routine maintenance. And now she may have to get a new car because Southern State Hyundai of Raleigh completely did her dirty. They gave her the run around for almost two months, she kept calling and Sam told her they were waiting for a part to come in. Fast forward to her picking up her car, it drove different like it has been wrecked, when we went to clean it out we found broken glass, grass and dirt in the passengers seat that confirms the car had be wrecked and broken into. NO ONE said nothing about this to my mom during any of the phone conversations. DO NOT TRUST SAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT TRUST SOUTHERN STATE HYUNDAI!!!!!!!!!! My mom takes her car to the specifically to the Hyundai dealership because she does not trust other mechanics and then this happens to her. This has been the most disappointing experience, now who do we trust if you can't trust the Hyundai Dealership. SMH!!!!!!!!
Fantastic service at SS by Terry McLean!! He listened, went beyond expectations to find the car I wanted- even drove to Lumberton to pick it up for me! Very genuine, not pushy at all- would definitely recommend him to family and friends! TY Terry👏
Subaru **Sales guy lied so much and evaded every single question relating even remotely to price, that got in the way of understanding car/value. He lied about new models coming, web site pricing information's usage and more. Also this location was not amenable to any meaningful 3 -5 min test drive. We were looking at Subaru models. Some not avl to see and hoops were posed should we be interested in the impreza vs highest trim on other pricier ones.
I had an appointment at 10 AM to pay for and get my new car. The car was still not detailed at 1 PM. This was unacceptable. I ended up taking the car without any detailing as I couldn't sit around and wait any longer. The whole process of buying my car was much too long especially considering I was not financing the purchase. There was too much waiting time with no one notifying me as to what was taking so long. The car should have been into detailing as soon as I showed up.
My 2019 Hyundai Sonata needed to be painted and the Body and Collision Repair Department manager Jimmy Farrell went above and beyond to make sure my situation was taken care of. He did this to my 100% satisfaction. They provided me with a loaner car and always returned my phone calls within the same business day. Thanks to Mr. Farrell, I would consider doing business with Southern States Automotive Group again. His integrity and ability to communicate with customers is definitely what this business has been lacking.
Service department is terrible and no one from management cares. I hope consumers remember how terrible Southern States is when cars are plentiful again and they need the business. I have tried to discuss the issues I have had for the last two years but I can not get a reply from GM Brian McInerney or any service manager. BEWARE!
