Twice now we have made an appointment to have our car looked at for some kind of noise in the front end and both times we have been told upon arrival. Ohh this is a scheduled drop off. NO, IT IS NOT and nowhere does it day drop-off in the scheduling of this. We live over an hour away and only have one car. Even after being told this ridiculousness we asked if they could at least run tge diagnostics on the car so that we could make a better plan to bring it back for the repairs (which are covered and why they are screwing us around) but they couldn't take 10 minutes to help us. When asked about using a rental car we were then told no, we only do that for long term repairs. Well maybe you should've taken a look at it!! Very unprofessional and thier customer service sucks!!
Purchased my new RAV at Steet and am very happy with how informative and efficient the process was. Frank Mariani, in particular, was a breeze and joy to work with! I will recommend this dealership and salesman to my friends and family.
My vehicle was misdiagnosed and was deliberately damaged during the diagnosis! The quoted me $4500 for the repair they thought it needed. Do NOT take your vehicle there…..they are dishonest hacks!
I have brought my 2023 tundra in for service a number of times now and have asked to have my rear driver's side tire looked at. The outside edge is going bald because something isn't right. I was told it was wearing even when it's clearly not and actually the last two tires wore til the threads showed only on the edge of tire. I was told it needed an alignment so I purchased new tires, had it aligned and still the one tire is wearing bald on the edge. (Alignments can't adjust the rear tires on trucks). Now this last time I take it in and again I address the tire wear I'm told a tech could drive it for $79 or they could check the alignment for $139. So now the third tire later the only thing I got for an answer to a obvious defect in my truck is we can take more of your money and give you some lame excuse and not fix whatever the cause of it is.
Over the last 15 years Freedom has purchase numerous vehicles for Steet Toyota at the Yorkville location. We currently have 3 vehicles 10 years or more with well over 200,000 miles and the excellent service we get has these running like new. We recently replace to other vehicles with a 2023 Sienna Hybrid and the same with the 2024. Frank our Sales rep went out of his way to please us and keep a great price. Most important to us is service after the sale and all the guys at the counter and those who do the work are very knowledgeable and most polite, saving us time and money throughout the years so Freedom Guide Dogs for the Blind can serve our blind families year after year. Bought a used car. It was promised (In writing) that the car had gone through the service department and had all service work done up to date. Car never went through service as was observed by someone who knows cars better than they expected. ZERO trust in the dealer sales and service. Salesman made promises to correct situation and he never followed up.
