Service department should streamline so that appointments can be on time and not have to leave the car there all day & be car-less. I like the personableness of the liason you are given as the go-between you and what's going on behind the scenes with the mechanics working on the car.

David was my service provider. 5 STARS FOR HIM!! He was excellent and amazing! He was kind, communicative, and knowledgeable. He is an asset to the department. Ford Corporate customer service gets 0 stars. My Ford Explorer has 40,700 miles, and I had to pay $1600+ for service on the computer. An internet search showed a known issue with this part, and even recalls for some vehicles. However, I did not qualify for assistance in deferring the cost. They were unable to tell me what qualifications I did not meet, nor were they able to transfer me to someone who did know. I bought my vehicle 2-2023. It already had had 2 recalls, and now the above issue. My previous vehicle (Mazda CX9) had 70,000+ miles and never saw the inside of a service department. Ford does NOT back their products. I will never buy another one.

Dave set me up with a rental after an AC compressor needed to be repaired and I just had hip surgery it was a great help and appreciated.
