I have stopped using the dealer. I had a scheduled service call for a routine oil change which should take less than an hour, and arrived on time for the service and handed in my car. After waiting in the waiting room for an hour, I saw my car was still waiting in the service entrance and questioned what was going on. I was told that they were going to get right on it, and my car was moved. Another hour later, I was told that they had not yet begun my service and that it would be another hour before I got my car back. At that time, I asked for my car back and decided that if that was how they treated a customer, I would take my business elsewhere.

Outstanding service today at Langway Toyota of Newport. We unexpectedly needed to buy a car. Wayne was knowledgeable, patient, and most helpful. We looked at three different cars. The last one was just what we were looking for. The entire process was first rate. Wayne went above and beyond. And all the staff was helpful and kind as well.

If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Langway Toyota was nothing short of predatory. They tried to take advantage of me financially, ignored my concerns, and when I stood up for myself and filed a complaint with the BBB and the Rhode Island Attorney General, I was BANNED from the dealership — by Mr. Langway himself. That’s right. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, they chose retaliation. Clearly, they don’t value honesty, accountability, or customer service — just your money. This place does not deserve your trust or your business. If you care about transparency, fair treatment, and not being bullied by a dealership, go anywhere else. AK Kafel, the “service advisor,” was rude, arrogant, and completely unprofessional. Jeff Soares, the Service Director, didn’t care one bit — even after the Toyota Engagement Center accepted my complaint.

My experience is that the staff are outstanding, professional and courteous. All work is done with absolute perfection. The sakes team are great too!

This dealership was the best dealership I have ever been to no hassles friendly courteous

On Saturday 02/15/2025 my Rav4 would not start I called the service department and received an appointment My car was towed in at 2pm and was taken care of right away I want to thank AK and the service team that helped to get my car set before the 4:30 pm closing They we’re able to also perform my next maintenance the would have been scheduled soon Thank you again for going above and beyond to help me Mr Langway should be very proud of your team
