What Others Say
Not sure if Richie Benedetti or Jim Johnson know the lease buyout process but I felt like I got the runaround. Perhaps they didn’t know or just wanted me to finance the buyout through Honda. Do better.
I purchased a pre-owned Honda in March 2026. Before I bought it, the vehicle had been serviced at Rick Case Honda in December 2025, where the head gasket seal was replaced.
Unfortunately, that repair appears to have been performed improperly. The tensioner bolt snapped because it was either cross-threaded or not properly tightened during the previous repair. A Honda representative who inspected the vehicle at Murfreesboro Honda determined that Honda would not cover the repair under warranty due to poor workmanship.
What I cannot understand is how a Honda dealership can perform a repair incorrectly, causing a mechanical failure, and then Honda denies warranty coverage because the failure resulted from that dealership's workmanship. As the customer, I'm left paying the price for a repair I had nothing to do with.
To make matters worse, Rick Case Honda has stopped returning my calls. According to the Director of Service at Murfreesboro Honda, there is nothing they can do unless Rick Case Honda agrees to address the issue. I also contacted Honda North America and am still hoping they will help resolve this.
I work in the automotive industry, and every manager at my dealership who has reviewed this situation agrees that this should never have happened. Dealerships should stand behind their repairs, especially when poor workmanship leads directly to another failure.
I'm not asking for anything unreasonable. I simply expect Rick Case Honda to take responsibility for a repair that appears to have been performed incorrectly and for Honda to stand behind the quality of repairs completed by its own authorized dealerships. As it stands, this experience has been extremely disappointing and has significantly damaged my confidence in both Rick Case Honda and Honda's warranty process.
I recently experienced an issue with my sunroof that required immediate attention. Although my service appointment was not scheduled until the following Tuesday, I stopped by the dealership on Sunday and explained the situation in the Express Service lane.
Service Manager Anderson Asprilla went above and beyond to accommodate me. Despite the busy schedule and the fact that I did not have an appointment that day, he listened to my concerns, accepted the vehicle for service, and assured me that he would personally keep me updated throughout the process.
What impressed me most was the level of communication and customer service. Monday was a holiday, yet Anderson and his team still managed to diagnose and complete the repair in a remarkably short timeframe. By 10:00 AM on Tuesday morning, Anderson personally called to let me know that my vehicle was repaired and ready for pickup.
In today's environment, exceptional customer service can be hard to find, but Anderson demonstrated exactly what great service should look like—professional, responsive, accommodating, and committed to taking care of the customer. The entire experience was smooth and stress-free, and I truly appreciated the sense of urgency with which my issue was handled.
Thank you to Anderson and the service team for exceeding my expectations. I highly recommend this dealership's service department and will continue to trust them with my vehicle in the future.
I lease a 2024 Alfa Romeo stelvio and did a oil change at a location other than the dealership. Maintenance on the vehicle is not required to be done at an Alfa Romeo dealership under the terms of the lease agreement. I do usually get my more intensive service work done at the dealership but for just doing an oil change , the dealership typically charges around $300 more than what you pay at an oil change location like Jiffy Lube or similar.
After getting the oil change done buy a non dealership oil change place, we were able to figure out how to reset the oil light, but now there is a scheduled maintenance expired message that comes on the screen when I start the engine. After Googling for a while, I found that on newer Alfa Romeo models , this can only be reset with the diagnostic equipment at a dealership . Something that I did not know before because previous stelvio models were able to reset these warning indicators with a combination of foot pedal pushes with the ignition.
I went to Rick Case Honda service department (the dealership I got the vehicle from) to get them to reset this indicator (which is a simple process for them), and they refused to do it without my paying for another oil change even though I just got it done days before. I am so disappointed with them because this is not a requirement for this vehicle in the manual or in the lease agreement. VERY DISSATISFIED WITH RICK CASE SERVISE DEPARTMENT.
I bought a "Like New" low mileage used car on 3/15/25. I was given one key fob and told the other would come by mail in a few days. It didn't come, and the salesman refuses to return my calls. He sent one text stating he would take care of it "tomorrow," but that was weeks ago. Nobody, not even the Sales Manager will return my calls.
Tried to purchase tires. Totally inept service person. Parts guy even worse to talk to.
